It was delivered while I was not home so it was left in the sun on my doorstep. I was concerned that the palette may have melted but each pot was exactly as it should be! I tested first the colors I was most excited about (the blues and purples) and was a little disappointed that they were not very pigmented and were mostly sheer glosses which is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. However the other colors were rich, creamy and true to color! I also like how easy it is to mix the colors. Since every lip naturally is a different color, I understand that each and every palette on this set won't look the best by itself, so mixing it great to get the perfect shade. I personally put the darkest berry color on first, and then add a little of the deepest red. The circles of color are a little smaller than dime size or about dime size, but for someone just starting to wear make-up, this is a great set to experiment with and the price is very reasonable for 66 colors. I also bought her the Revlon lip brush on Amazon (about $5) that has a cover to go with this set since it does not come with a lip brush. I think using a lip brush will help the color last longer. The set came in perfect condition with no broken or dried up colors. The compact is large, so it will not fit in a medium sized make-up bag, but the compact seems sturdy. There are some pretty wild colors, such as blue and green, but they will be fun for weekend or dress up wear.
