I wasn’t expecting much because it clearly said it was for kids. But I love it and I’m 55. I am also ADHD and only want the surface info on some of these topics. Some of them I want to dive deeper and will use other tools to research, but this book gives a great simple overview of so many world history topics. That is what I’m interested in — a simple intro into a wide range of history topics. And this fits that perfectly. So far I have devoured the maps. That’s a tiny part of the book but they are easy to read and detailed. I like that it starts with pre-history and moves into the Bronze age, writing, cave drawings, etc. I’m very happy with the book.
