Works great
This thermometer is the only one I could find that was American made listed on Amazon, and they had a lot to choose from, go figure! Otherwise, it works great and is the easiest one I have ever used. The recommended case fits perfect.

Could be easier to use, swipe across the forehead is hard with the slightest amount of moisture.
A bit hard to swipe across the forehead, may be due to Florida weather so we always end up using behind the ear. Seems accurate but not very easy to use. To use behind the ear you press and hold then put meter to area, to use on the forehead you have to put on the area then press and hold button then swipe across. It is very quick to give you a reading and fairly consistent. The size is just about the same as all others, same goes for pricing.

Didn't work
Ir didn't work! Unfortunately I didn't have need to use it until 2 weeks after the no return date.

Battery didn't work
The battery that came with it did NOT work. I put in a new one that I had and it worked just fine. So even though the description says it comes with a battery - that is rather misleading. I do like the thermometer (so far) though.

i cannot get the battery compartment open
the instruction for the battery replacement leave a lot to be desired. i have tried everything to get that compartment open to no avail
