Artist Jack Sephiroth takes the classic structure of the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot to new heights of expressive beauty. The illustrations of this deck evoke a sense of mythological grandeur, helping to bring forth the deeper meaning of each card for vivid and nuanced readings. In this tarot, the spiritual and the material are woven together in a tapestry of symbolic wisdom. Boxed kit (5¼ x 8¼) includes a 78-card deck and 160-page guidebook Review: Beautiful accessible deck but needs time to get to know - This has become my favorite tarot deck. The art is beautiful, the cards are sturdy and easy to shuffle, and the book is incredibly well-written. I will say, however, that this is a glossy deck; and as such, when it's new the cards have a habit of sticking together. This is not a problem as it gets used more, but it does take a little bit of effort at the beginning to make sure that you separate the cards one by one. You might have to do this a couple of times, depending on how humid your environment is. However, with use, the oil from your hands/fingers will keep things from sticking and they'll begin to get easier and easier to shuffle. For me, this feels more like a feature than a flaw. It's the cards and I getting to know one another. But, again, I can't say enough about how beautiful the art is on this deck. I would frame larger prints of every single one of these cards and hang them proudly. The deck doesn't stray far from classic Rider-Waite-Smith imagery, but it reimagines it remarkably. Where it does stray from the classic imagery, it does so for obvious reasons, and I'm okay with that. The little descriptions printed on the bottom of each card are helpful, but if they don't align to your understanding of the image, that's okay. They feel like they are just there as helpful little nudges, and they make the deck incredibly accessible for beginners. Review: "Lovely, dark, and deep" - (...this deck doesn't actually remind me of that Robert Frost poem I used in the headline, but it is still, I think, an accurate description of this deck.) The kit in all is lovely; the booklet is a nice size-- not very small, not too big, and I think super useful for keywords, correspondences, and the like. What I like most about this deck: the physical feel, weight and size of the cards, shuffle-ability (...? I like flippers and the glossy/slippery-ness of this deck is perfect for that without being excessive), and the most important and cool thing, in my opinion: it 100% has the traditional RWS imagery BUT with different and absolutely beautiful artwork and details. The images are more detailed than the traditional RWS, but the scenes in all are unmistakably RWS-inspired and close to original, if that makes sense. The photo shows that each card has the elemental and/or planetary correspondence on it, which I like and find unique. Most of my decks do not have that. Ah, and the back of the cards should be visible all the way to the left in the photo, as well. Have there been a few cards that I've scuffed up the top or corners on from regular use? Sure. Maybe 2 or 3? But that's to be expected. And even those edges are minimal, and I've had this deck for over a year, at least. Seriously, I could sell this deck "Like New" and that would be accurate. It is not usually one of my go-to daily type of decks, but I do find that I seek it out and keep it nearby because I end up going back to it every so often and every time I do I'm struck with the dark beauty of these cards. Note that the cards appear lighter due to my lighting when the picture was taken. These definitely have a more shadowy look about them. I would definitely recommend this deck if it calls to you in any way, and/or you collect decks as I do.

Drop Dead Gorgeous Tarot Deck
I've been a fan of tarot for several years and I'm usually extremely picky about the decks that I use. In fact, I've browsed through loads of decks, and Heaven and Earth was the only deck that I purchased this year, and boy was it worth every dollar, despite the long delay. The art is by far the best one I've seen. On top of that, the artist/ designer did not jeopardize the symbolism in this art. All alchemical and ancient symbols have been perfectly imported from the A. E. Waite Deck. This is blatantly clear in the Wheel of Fortune card which is loaded to the brim with symbolism. The cards are of high quality, and I was surprised by the size of the box (the cards are of normal size). Also unboxing the deck was an adventure by itself. The cards come with a 160+ page book that details every card. The book is very good and does an excellent job of explaining all the aspects of each card (philosophical symbolism, and practical interpretation). I've read my fair share of detailed guides on that subject. My only feedback (which should not detract you from purchasing this deck) is two-fold, and mainly related to the book: 1) The book should have covered all elements of the tarot instead of leaving certain items unclear, under the guise of questions. For example, the High Priestess has the classical B/J Pillars next to her. It would have been great if the book explained that these letters stand for Boaz and Jachin from the temple of Solomon (in him/it strength, he/it will establish). Another one is in the Magician where they ask "what does the symbol over the magician's head, stand for". They can simply say that it was infinity and stands for potentially x and y. 2) It would have been great if the Minor Arcana were also represented in the book like the Major Arcana, although I realize it would have raised the printing cost a bit. Other than that, this deck is excellent and would recommend any tarot reader or fan of medieval studies to purchase it.

Atmospheric Winter Deck with Beautiful Celestial Artwork
I really enjoy the atmosphere of the Heaven & Earth Tarot. The artwork feels quiet, reflective, and perfect for winter reading sessions. I especially like the muted gray-and-blue color palette and the balance between celestial and earthly imagery throughout the deck. I found the cards easy to read because the structure still follows Waite–Smith, even though the art style is much more fantasy-based. For me, this works best as a reflective or introspective deck rather than a fast daily pull deck. The guidebook is fairly brief, but the artwork carries a lot of the experience on its own.

Beautiful and ethereal but easy to read with
I had bought this deck before and gave it away. Suddenly it called to me again, maybe because it's a different time in my life. Its ethereal beauty really speaks to me. It's clearly a Rider-Waite-Smith based deck so it's very easy to read for those who know that system, without being a "clone." I love the subdued color palette. It's a great deck for shadow work, which is why I think I went for it right now-- but also for regular daily readings. Lovely artwork and good guidebook.

My New Favorite Deck
I love that this deck basically takes the Rider-Waite-Smith deck and makes it dark and moody. Every card has beautiful artwork. Too often, themed decks will have art on the major arcana but get lazy with the minor. The Pages are called Princesses in this deck which is something to keep in mind. Also, the minor arcana doesn’t have the name of the card at the bottom, it has a keyword or phrase pertinent to that card, so it’s important to know your suits well if you are a beginner- the number is helpfully displayed at the top to help you out. The guidebook that comes with this set is probably the most concise, yet thorough one I’ve ever received. It’s such nice quality too. I will probably read it cover to cover, then keep it nearby to consult often. It’s that well written. My set came in pristine condition, however the cards were firmly stuck together. I’m not sure if this is common due to the coating on the cards which is shinier than any other deck I own. Or if possibly my deck just got very warm which caused the adhesion. Either way, good news, I got them separated with no issues or damage and after shuffling them a bit they were ready to go. Bottom line: If you are already familiar with and love the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, I think you’ll quickly fall in love with this deck just like I did.

Impressive Deck
Had seen several unboxings of the deck on You Tube and there was somethng about this deck that called to me. It came only 2 days ago so this is first chance to really get into it. The cards are stunning, The artwork is so beautiful and almost magical, it really talks to me and I felt a connection with the deck immediately. I collect decks, and have many, but do not connect with all of them. Its really personal choice, as every deck is not for every person. These cards have an other worldly feel about them. There is much gray and white in the backgrounds although the cards are colored. It looks like all of the images are surrounded by mist which adds to the mystique of the deck. The artist has added many surprises into each of the cards. There are hidden and spectral images in the backgroiunds of each ot the cards and this adds to the message of the card. Much to see and study in each image. The cards come in an 8" by 51/4" magnetic close box. It looks sturdy. Also included is a 150 page book that measures about the same size and details each card with colored pictures. The cards measure 4.75" by 2.75 " which is standard size and easily handled. They are of a durable stock with only a light lamination which makes them easy to handle and shuffle. Only problem is that the box came damaged in 2 places probably due to shipping, and on the Lovers Card there is a big blur right on the face of one of the figures. Have already contacted Amazon and they are sending me out a replacement. In spite of this, I am very happy with this deck and know that I will be using it a lot as it talks to me and I can really connect with it.

Beautiful Deck
I like this deck very much. The images are intense and it takes a bit of studying to realise their complexity. It is a dark deck, a more serious looking deck. Absolutely beautiful images and artwork. The paper itself is a bit thin but well laminated. If you use it everyday I think it would wear easily. If you really love it buy 2 decks as I have in the past for a favourite deck. I would buy this deck again. Arrived in good time and was well packaged.

Beautiful!
This is such a lovely deck with the beautiful romanticism of the Old Masters style of imagery. The card stock is good and although the cards were a little smaller than expected so that so much detail is only seen when magnified by, say, scanning in and viewing on the computer... Having said that though the book that comes with it is beautiful with aspects of Thoth tarot, Tarot in general, Judaic , astrology and other symboism and meaning woven into the beautiful imagery - so don't be thrown by what seems dominant Christian ideology, that only forms part of the design... For me, the various elements felt (and I loved) my mind was being stretched in different directions that made me think on multiple levels all all the same time - and think about how these levels interweaved with each other. Not your 'usual' tarot - but definitely, I think, one for those who have spiritual interests in other directions - this deck and book certainly won't disappoint.

Lovely artwork informative book but could be best if bit larger in size
Cards are so beautifull n book is so informative in a different way indeed but i wish if they create cards bit larger as the ar work is so unique n color combinations too lovely but because of such normal size of cards it feels like injustice with the art work indeed. If possible i would urge to the creators to make a bit larger size of these 78 cards like an oracle card size.
