Not really made for smaller conure. Bird would need to be on the bigger size. And leash isnt detachable so u cant leave harness. I wont buy again

Haven’t been able to use the harness. My birds will not cooperate. It is not something that you can get on quickly. To slide it tight, it takes effort and both hands. And my bird gets out before I can tighten it.

Some of the other reviews are right, this harness has the potential to be DANGEROUS. We managed to do some modifications and are continuing to use it until we find a nice one we like. The construction is also not great and we pulled a section of it apart with minimal effort. We pulled the back portion of the neck loop apart to make it easier to go over our birds head, we just have to make sure it’s oriented correctly when we put it on. The leash is actually crimped to the harness, which has an adjustment slide to tighten around your birds belly. This is the dangerous part and the biggest modification we made. If the bird were to jump, pull, or otherwise jerk the leash, it would tighten around their chest, restricting breathing. We cut the leash, and tied an extra clip we had to the end of it, then hooked the clip to both the neck and belly strap. The crimp was left to keep the slide from coming undone. We will still be looking for a different harness for our buddy, as he doesn’t love that the slide generally sits under his wing. We have an African grey that this goes on and a smaller cockatoo that this fits, but is a pain to get over his beak/head.

Needed to share this. I thought it was gonna be fun and easy to put this on for my Quaker, long story short, made sure to put it on properly, I did put it on properly, my parrot almost died, one of the most stressful moments of my life. Legit thought he was gonna die, especially because we count remove it, and he was stressing out, super thick material, hated how thick it was, I regret buying this product, not sutible for small birds, think twice before you put your bird in a harness. Disappointed

It is very hard to put on. I have a Blue Quacker fits very loose. Kind of heavy.

Do not buy this for your bird. I bought this for my Conure and the material is way too thick and looks like the straps were put together by melting the two ends with a lighter. It was difficult to put it on him and it was even more difficult to take it off him. He was panting so much (obvious sign of being stressed) and I was scared he’d have a heart attack. It’s a cute idea in theory but is not worth losing your bird over.

Great product

I bought this because it’s supposed to fit a green cheek and it didn’t at all. It was to big. Also difficult to try and tighten without upsetting your feathered friend.

The straps were sewn on twisted. I can't use this on my bird at all.

It would be better if it had to clip so that you could keep the harness on your bird
