Not easy to install but beautiful once it is installed.
This fan is awesome but was very difficult to install. Once we did get it installed the remote control module did not work. We contacted the company and they were AMAZING to work with. They did not have the part to send us so we had to go purchase on from a local hardware store. They fully reimbursed us for the cost of the module. I would definitely order from them again.

Wonderful
Moves air, quiet and looks amazing. The light is on a dimmer and works amazing.

Clean looking fan and feels stable
Kind of expensive for what it is but does look nice and solid plastic blades will hopefully hold up better than MDF/wood ones. The blades were drooping on previous fan due to humidity issue on covered patio area. The blades on this one are more rigid. You can connect fan and light to traditional switch and skip the remote if you have the wiring for it.

Decent fan, terrible support, odd remote design
The quality of the fan itself is good. It's relatively easy to install and setup. However, the Hunter company is awful to work with should anything go wrong. The LED assembly failed less than a year later and the warranty was denied due to the fan being purchased in open-box instead of "brand new". Their support also kept trying to recommend me replacing the remote, which we clarified worked fine several times. Also, the remote is made to be installed inside a wall, but it requires batteries so you have to pull the entire thing out twice a year since the remote chews through them. Not sure why they went with that design instead of a simple remote.

3 years and stop being paired
Purchased 3 of these 3 years ago. They were installed by an electrician. Recently one fan stopped working. I tried repairing with the 1 in wall remote. That worked for a couple of days. Contacted support and they told me since I had 3 fans working from the single in wall remote, I had to repair one fan at a time. This requires me to get on a 10' step latter for the 12' ceiling fans. I did that by disconnecting 2 fans and pairing the 3rd. Then unhook the newly paired fan and hooking up another. Rinse repeat. This worked for 2 or 3 days then one of the fans stopped working again. I have ordered new receivers for each fan. Obviously not very pleased with this product. Hard wiring to install and complicated way to control the fans via pairing to a wall remote.

Great fan with one issue
I bought this fan for my covered outdoor patio. I probably could have bought a cheaper damp rated fan for this location, but wanted to make sure it would last. This fan is wet rated which means that it can get wet and still work perfectly fine. It's meant for uncovered outdoor areas where the fan will get wet from direct rainfall and dew and high humidity. I have not been able to test this out as it is in a covered patio. I had an electrician install this fan so I can't tell you how hard it is to install. However he installed it on about 30 minutes with an electrical box already in that location. The fan is very quiet and moves a lot of air. I live in Florida so it gets very hot and humid outdoors here. This fan makes it possible to sit outside on our patio in the summer and not melt in the summer heat. The fan comes with a LED light kit that cannot be removed. It is sealed (so it doesn't use standard LED light bulbs) instead it uses LED light strips which cannot be replaced that I know of. That's fine as LED lights last for thousands of hours of use and should last the lifetime of this fan. The light is bright enough, but not super bright and it is dimmable. The one issue I have with this fan is that it's a remote controlled fan. I understand why they did this (to eliminate another area for water to get into this fan, think pull chains), however, the remote control setup is poorly implemented. The remote that comes with this fan can be installed in the wall and hooked up to the house electrical. However, all it uses the electrical for is an on/off switch. You can turn the light on/off (and dim it) and adjust the fan speed from the remote, all using the battery in the remote control. So if/when the battery dies you have to take the remote control out of the wall and disconnect the electrical connection and then replace the battery in the remote control and reinstall it in the wall. To me that doesn't make much sense. The reason they did this is because otherwise you would have to run additional wires from the switch to the fan to be able to control all operations of this fan. However, I think Hunter could have used the home AC to power the remote control so you didn't have to change batteries. To me that would make more sense. I just didn't hook up the remote control in the wall. I just use it as a stand alone remote control so when the batteries die , I can replace them with ease. The other problem is that the remote comes standard ready to install in the wall, so it has wires sticking out of it and mounting hardware attached to it. You can cut the wires and remove the mounting hardware (which is what I have done), but you have to have the right tools to do it. One nice thing is that you can buy an additional remote control (with wires and and hardware attached and pair it with the fan. This way you have two remotes in case you lose one. They are not cheap, about $50 on Amazon or Home Depot. So far I like this fan, it can take water directly on it and I don't have to worry about the blades warping over time, however I think it I had to do it all over again I would have gotten a cheaper damp rated fan with pull chains instead of this fan. If you need a truly wet rated fan this is a good fan minus the remote setup.

Compramos este ventilador porque era resistente a la oxidación. Sin embargo, el control del ventilador y la luz falló después de unos meses. No lo habíamos usado durante el último año, pero finalmente reemplazamos la pieza por $700 pesos más $1300 de mano de obra.
