Restoring the overall look of older wood
This is a very good product which I use for restoring my dark wood colored base boards. It brings the shine, enrich the color and smells incredible.

Noticably better than Pledge & generic/store brands. I use it on heirloom Amish oak table and antiques.

GREAT furniture polish.
I have used Guardsman for many years. My uncle worked for them many years ago. My grandfather was a master wood craftsman and always used this polish. He taught me not to use anything else on his furniture. I don't.

Has UV protection (at least according to the marketing info)
I was using lemon pledge spray polish, but wanted something to help furniture that got direct sun. This spray works as polish and claims UV protection.

Great for cleaning and polishing
My mom used the original cream polish that I grew up on. I used it for years. I was glad to find this clean and polish formula. Just spray on a soft cloth and wipe furniture. Use another soft cloth to buff out. My furniture has a wonderful shine all the time now.

Not returnable to Amazon.
I really like the product. It polishes the furniture nicely . However, when they arrived both caps were broken, which made one can unusable. As it turns out they were not returnable. The phone number for Guardsman was provided and Guardsman is sending me two new cans.

Love this!
We had our dining room table repaired (it's solid wood, no veneers or anything) and the technician told us that this was the only polish he recommended for wood. Even though I thought it was a little pricey I bought it. I am so happy I did! I will never use any other polish or oil. I have a piano that is almost 70 years old and my bedroom set is over 50 - after using this the wood shines like it's new! It doesn't leave a residue and the shine lasts. It did take a little elbow grease at first because it removed all the other polish that was on the pieces (mostly Pledge). Very happy with this and I gave the extra can to my daughter because she has my mother's old dining room set. We are both happy now!
