How well does it hold up after washing? Will it shrink?

I have been wearing these Tri-Blend shirts from AP for almost 10 years now. They used to have better colors! They are my comfy, go-to, every day shirt. I am 5'11'', 160+lbs, athletic build. The Large fits me perfectly after a little shrink in the wash (medium would be a tight fit, but wearable). They shrink evenly.... These are the only shirts that fit me perfectly, so I buy a few every year or so.

Would you recommend for working in hot weather?

yes, in the hot or cold, this is a good tee. The tri-blend just feels soft and natural and wicks away moisture. There is no clammy synthetic feel to it, that's why I've only ordered this brand over and over for years.
