I put this filter in my 2010 Infiniti QX56 and noticed an immediate gain in acceleration. My old filter was dirty but not plugged by any means, which indicates that the K&N filter does, in fact, flow more air. I've known about and used K&N filters since I was a young snot. Had them on a pair of Weber 48IDA carbs on my VW Karmen Ghia and my Micro Bus. Loved them then and love them now! Pros: Easy install No more filters in the trash Better air flow to my gas guzzling V8 Came with a couple of stickers, One for your car or window or whatever and one for the filter housing to remind your local lube shop not to toss your filter in the trash. Cons: Box was a bit oily as the plastic wrapper on the pre-oiled filter had a hole in it Anticipate a drop in fuel economy due to my foot-on-the-floor all the time now No other cons

If you havent put a K&N filter on your car or motorcycle yet then youre missing out. They give improved performance and mileage by letting the engine breath better AND you never have to buy another factory replacement filter again cause they are re-usable. After you clean it twice you have paid for it... the rest of the life of your car? You save the cost of a new filter over and over AND get better mileage and performance. They last forever. make sure to get the K&N filter oil and their cleaner works really well also when you need to wash them out but you can use other cleaners if you want.
