My husband & I use the square credit card reader, but we had to remove the otter box case from our phones each time. This was wearing out our case quicker than they should have been. I called square, but no one helped. This cord works without removing the case! It's great!

Great extension for credit card readers. A bit long, but that is a personal preference - someone else may appreciate the length. Works great and works with my HTC One M9 through the Otterbox defender case.

One star is harsh I know but this product doesn't work with my iPad which is used as a retail product to swipe credit card purchases. I needed the long extension because the male pin of my swipper doesn't fit int the iPod with the case one it. The case is needed so the iPod can securely sit on the counter of my Studio. But when I connect the swipper to the end of the female unit of the extension, the connection to my retail merchant and the credit card fails which means I have to key in customer's credit cards...which is a higher per transaction fee. : - ( This product might work for others, just didn't work for me..

Does exactly what I wanted it to do. I can use my PayAnywhere CC reader with my iPhone without removing the case. Have recommended to others.
