They're clips.
Typical clips. These are a little tighter than any clips I've bought before. Even when fully expanded, they're difficult to push over the bar. This is good and bad. Good if you're worried about tilting and losing weights because they really grip on, but bad if you're looking for quick weight change outs when lifting with a partner or if you've only got one bar to do your lifts with. Not a big deal though.

Does not fit a 2" Olympic bar. Purchases two sets for a health club. They do not work without some finagling.

These are great collars for lifting weights
These are great collars for lifting weights. They hold the weights securely in position. I like the fact that you can squeeze these collars for quick weight changes. Its nice that it keeps your workouts moving along quickly. They seem to be very well made and they seem like they should last for years of use.I received this product in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

Have not slipped or let me down
These barbell collars by Lyuber work great! They have a nice amount of tension to them which allows them to grasp nicely on to the barbell and hold weight plates in place. They have not slipped or let me down yet and I don't anticipate them doing so. I'd recommend adding these to your home setup so you can enjoy them as well!
