Again, the only sippy cup that is leak proof
I'm on my 2nd child and again despite trying many other kinds, this sippee cup wins again. At least for ones with handles. It is truly leak proof....until the kid starts chewing on the end or they have been used sooooo much the inner plastic piece wears out and needs to be replaced. But hey, they can actually be replaced, which makes them like new (even if they kiddo has been gnawing on the sippy part) My all time favorite cup is: http://www.amazon.com/Tommee-Tippee-Explora-Spill-proof-Drinking/dp/B005ACPX0A/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1328914361&sr=8-20 But that's only when you have a child who could care less about the handles. For my 9month plus daughter, the handles are a must, they let her handle the cup one handed and not drop it all over. (Despite typical infant flinging, that is). I thought this cup was going to be the answer with this kiddo since I loved that other Tommee tipee cup: http://www.amazon.com/Tommee-Tippee-Explora-Spill-proof-Drinking/dp/B005ACPX0A/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1328914361&sr=8-20 However, believe the bad reviews, this thing can leak like no tomorrow. I'm shocked anyone can even give a good review for it. They do look pretty..and my daughter did get the idea of what she was supposed to do with this. But she was always soaked and the high chair tray filled with the water that could literally pour out of the cup. So again, back to these particular playtex cups to use until she she can use the other cups. Although my 3 year old will still use these cups from his first year but just without the plastic insert to reduce flow.

Very nice sippy cup for little ones!
My grandson is starting to self feed and drink on his own and I have tried several different brands of cups. The Playtex sippy cup is the best that I h ave found. The colors are nice and bright and the lid screws on nice and smooth and lock tightly for no leaks, but is still easy to take off. The handles on the cup are great for little hands to grasp. The price is a lot cheaper than retail stores and they were delivered right to my door. I can safely give my grandson something to drink while in the car and not worry about spills in my car or on him. They work great!

Great until your child chews through the spout.
When we transitioned my daughter from a bottle to a cup, we started off with the Playtex straw cup because it was very easy for her to use. However, the liquid would constantly bubble up and make a mess. I purchased these and my daughter had no problem getting used to the sippy cup and we didn't have any leaking issues, at first. However, after a few months, the liquid seems to drip out from the spout, I think from the wear and tear of my daughter chewing on the spout. We're on our second set of sippy cups, same brand. I like these because they have the handles on the side that make it easy for my daughter to carry around the park. There are other sippy cups that don't leak but they don't have the handles, so it's not as useful. Pros: Handles Doesn't leak as much as other cups Affordable Cons: Color combo, you don't know what color combo you will get Leaks after some use

Perfect
Bought these as a replacement for some other soft tip sippy cups we had. Use these for my 1 year old son and they are perfect. They are easy to clean, easy for him to grab and move around, and easy enough for him to flip around if you give them to him with the spout on the top by mistake. I love the fact you get two of them also as we then have one for home and one for the diaper bag when we go out and about. These things have been quit durable as well Great purchase and I would easily suggest them to anyone else who might want them. EDIT: Well would like to update if you have a chewer you might not want these. My son likes to chew his sippy cups and with the semi soft like spout on these things it ended up just tearing right up with his sharp little teeth making us buy another little set. In this case I might suggest something that is a little harder on the spout end.

Not good - Playtex bring back the old style please!
I loved the old style Playtex sippy cups. They were my favorite ones, and I would have stocked up on them if I'd known they were discontinuing them. This new style doesn't seem so great so far. I've only used it once, but what I don't like so far is: - Only 1 handle. They're clearly trying to hide this fact with the packaging and it says nowhere that there is only one handle. It is difficult for my 7 month old to get this to his mouth with one hand. I wouldn't have bought them if I'd known. - Hard to get the sippy valve in and out for cleaning. - It's pretty hard to get any liquid out. I tried it and had a lot of trouble getting any water out. Maybe it's easier with a little mouth? I'm giving 3 stars only because I haven't used them enough to know how bad they'll be.

Absolute favorite first sippy cups
After some disappointing options from the local big box store I finally came to Amazon to do some review research. After an afternoon of reading a full diaper-load of reviews, I decided to give this economical duo a try. I could not care less that my son received a purple and pink set and certainly no one else has cared either. What I cared very much about was the spill-proof, leak-proof claim and I was not disappointed. Just like they were supposed to, the tops audibly clicked into place and didn't leak. Of course, after more than 6 months of heavy use the valves have become a little tired and weakened, but even now they need to be completely upside down or at a very specific angle to leak at all. But because my son is also now that much older, that happens less and less. We have now moved on to Playtex's bigger sizes without handles and once again I am impressed. Our other go-to cup is the Safe Sippy (stainless steel with soft plastic cover) and it too is a leak-proof champ, so long as the handle is on. But since that has a hard plastic straw top, these First Sipsters were definitely used the most when our son was first starting the transition to sippy cup. I give these sippy cups a non-super mom's recommendation for sure.

AVOID THIS ITEM
Current version of this cup: 0 stars The original version of this cup was awesome! CW has all the information you need, read that review and please post your own comments so we can get companies to stop "improving" things that are great to begin with. And DO NOT BUY! Original version of this cup: 5 stars Pros: BPA free, two handles, tough, easy to use and clean, replaceable spout inserts (they tend to wear after hundreds of washings in the dishwasher), perfect size even for infants, great colors. Cons: The lids can be a little tight, but just getting them wet from filling is enough to put them on. Tight is good since the kids can't get them open (in the car, bed, etc.) There is a bit of a learning curve to getting the spouts inserted, don't push them in too tight or they can drip. If the cup is dripping, take it apart and put the spout in again. This usually enough to fix the issue. We sometimes lose them :-( Summary: The cons are minor and not enough to ding the rating in my opinion. Those will difficulty opening tight lids may need to look for a different cup unfortunately. We have been using these cups for 3 years without issue and continue to love them.

Good cup - one issue
Great for no spills and the handle is nice for little guys learning to use the sippy cup. Only issue we ran into was my son kept chewing on the mouth piece and would tear them up and milk would leak everywhere and we'd have to throw them out. Wish we could have bought replacement tops but instead switched to the Munchkin click it insulated sippy cups with a harder plastic top that he can't destroy with his teeth.

Good little cup!
Our six month old loves using this cup. A sippy cup is new to our routine but she is trying to drink from it and enjoys chewing on the spout as well. Easy for her to hold and lift to her mouth.

Great product.
These cups work well! I like that the handles can come off. My 6 month old grandson has not trouble holding and drinking from them. They do not leak and the are easy to clean.

Easy transition cup
I really like this sippy cup, my daughter is 7months old and she took to it well. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star review is because there are no mls on the bottle to see how much your are putting and how much the baby is drinking, thatโs important for me because I like to know.
