Effective water filter jug
Good water filter jug that does the job well. The filtered water tastes noticeably better. Filter cartridge is easy to replace and the jug fits nicely in the fridge. Good capacity for a household.

Great price
On first use I filled jug up to half the reservoir in the upper part. Unfortunately it dripped, badly. I’ve since only filled it to a third of the upper container and no more leaks. On this basis it doesn’t quite hold the amount claimed. It has a handy function where you can open the top by using only your thumb, to fill up from the tap. You then close, ensuring no dust falls in. It fills very fast, unlike the Brita brand I previously had, meaning that you don’t have to wait for the water to go into the main jug before completing the filing before placing in the fridge. It fits in the fridge door with ease. It comes with 3 cartridges, which unlike the Brita, clips underneath the top reservoir and it is this that allows the jug to be filled so quickly. Remember to soak the cartridge before use as directed in the instructions and you won’t get any black sediment in the water. The jug itself is a fair bit lighter than the Brita, meaning that it’s not so heavy when filled; hopefully this doesn’t mean it’ll be prone to cracking more easily. Great jug for the price

Holds the Tesco filter fine but leaks when u pour if over filled
Been using Tesco's water filter in old Brita jug for years. Jug fell and broke. So looked for new one and this seemed ideal as it is designed for Tesco's filters and is a bit bigger. I had been using Britta water tank but this cracked on corner before I went back to the Elemaris jug I had been using before that. It just fits in vertically to fridge door with a bit of a squeeze. Depth wise it is fine as a tad thinner at bottom than full 1ocm speccer. But when full to top, and u pour, water pours around lid. The Brita Elemaris didn't. The lid was tight and flap held fast. So if I don't overfill the resovoir section, say max when pouring is 50% of resovoir (75% overall),it is fine. Also when too low and u tip further to get water out it also leaks. So it has a narrow range in middle of 25 to 75% full - which sort of undoes some of the benefit of being larger capacity than Brita. But have u seen price of Brita jugs now!? Ps slatted lid for filling works fine.
