Dupont Barber Comb #55 by Starflite

My sister, the owner of a fair number of felines got a comb like this from an old man relative and raved about how effective it was on her cats. I have a cat who is making herself sick with hairballs and no brush, furminator or slicker comb was working. So I searched Amazon for a comb like my sister's.;which I came to know was a barber comb. This thing works like a champ. I have slicked this cat down to a basic light coat. She is cool, she is comfy and she isn't gagging up or pooping hairballs any more. Honestly best cat comb ever.

This is a good comb. It is properly tapered. The teeth are properly spaced. It is light-weight but sturdy. All-in-all - a good comb.

Bought this to start my locs with comb coils. I purchased two combs just in case one broke, and might I tell you, it was not necessary. This comb is light weight but sturdy hard plastic. Parts hair perfectly. The tines (teeth of the comb) on one side are really close together.. SO GUYS, ITS PERFECT FOR COMBING YOUR BEARD!

The comb is much harder plastic than I thought it would be. I was hoping for a more plyable comb so my bald area would not get injured.

I've been looking for it for some time..... years. It is all it always has been, fine toothed, flexible, and long lasting. Perfect. As the ad says, will last a lifetime unless you loose it! This is for someone who lost theirs!

Nice comb. Measures 7.5" long. Flexible. Appears to be made of nylon, but listing notes it is made of Delrin, which - like nylon - is also tough material.

This come is flimsy, very bendy. Not the quality I was expecting. Teeth are sharp one the scalp, as others have mentioned. And, I hadn’t noticed how short it was. Disappointed. I would not buy this again.
