XtremeMac (XTRAS) 10W USB Speaker Tango BAR USB-B22-03

Pros: A simple-to-use PC speaker bar that has ample loudness, and hasn't been over-built or over-engineered. Cons (is it?): It's so powerful, it might vibrate at high volume. I don't see this as a problem with the product per-se, as it's what a powerful Hi-Fi normally does when it's turned up. It's just a consideration to have when balancing your input and positioning the speaker. Here's my experience with this speaker: In my opinion the XtremeMac Tango has everything you need from a desktop PC speaker, and as a bonus it's USB powered. I can connect this speaker to any USB power source that has enough amps to power it. An iPhone charger works great. Everything coming out of this speaker sounds great at any volume. This speaker has an excellent built-in amplifier that packs one heck of a punch, almost too much, so I added an equalizing pre-amp (a small personal amplifier) so I can have a bit more control. If you like it loud, this speaker's built-in amp does the job beautifully but may audibly vibrate sometimes. Mine vibrates because of the way I have positioned it, without using the feet, and if you get vibrations I recommend that you use an equalizer with this speaker.

These are amazing speakers. the order arrived on time and in perfect conditions. Thank you, I highly recommend this speaker set up amazing sound, easy to set up and fits perfect in front on the screen.

Works pretty good. Looks like it belongs with my Mac. No complaints. My iMac doesn't have much volume and this helps. Reasonable frequency response for most things. I paired this with a Kanto Powered woofer and of course most things are not affected,,,,, but every now and then a wide freq response is encountered......

I purchased this unit for my 27 inch iMac. Although it sounds good, it does not sound better than the internal speakers. The only difference would be when played very loud. The sound would be about the same. Otherwise save your money.

I gave this product more than one star because it looks great and matches the Imac visually. Unfortunately, the sound quality is a minimal improvement over the internal Imac speaker. Sounds tinny and cheap. i returned it.

Firstly the soundbar is fantastically packaged and secure in what feels like a Russian doll of boxes (3 in total). But when you eventually get to your new sound bar, at first I wasn't sure what the qaulity would be like. But after setting it up (which took all of 10 seconds by going into sound and changing the output to USB device) I was pleasantly surprised. The flat sound of the iMac was instantly replaced by by a forward facing depth of sound. Being a musician and a designer, sound is important to me to be able to work. I'm also pretty critical, so I will break down the attributes: Treble 4/5 - It can get a little tinny up the top end but that's only when you crank it up. Mid Range 5/5 - Can't fault the mid range output of this device. Bass 3/5 - The bass isn't great, but it's a marked improvement on the iMac's bassless sound. Clarity 4/5 - Depends what volume you have it at, but the clarity is pretty damned good. Output 5/5 - When you've got it turned fully up, you'll be worried you'll crack the screen. Over All Value For Money 5/5 - For the price I would certainly recommend. It looks great, sounds great and with my Quirky USB Space Bar and 27 Inch Mac, it completes the ultimate set up. It's not going to blow your mind and offer masses of bass and depth, but it's a marked improvement on the Mac's speakers. Edit: Upon closer inspection, having only had the bar a few hours, I found a tiny chip out of the aluminium on top of bar, which wasn't due to the packaging, which kind of ruins the look of the brushed slick look. I've sent off for a replacement, but having had it delivered after 3 days the first time, apparently theres now up to a four week delay... so will hold fire on the service side until then.

Der Lautsprecher sieht gut aus, passt unter den Monitor, klingt ordentlich, und dank des USB-Anschlusses fällt auch das Kabelgewirr weg. Das ist für mich die Hauptsache. Allerdings hatte das erste bestellte Exemplar Mängel: Alle paar Sekunden gab es ein lautes Knacken von sich, selbst bei Stromversorgung über ein USB-Netzteil. Ein Wackelkontakt war es nicht, Klopfen oder Wackeln am Kabel hatte keinen Effekt. Wie einige andere kritische Bewertungen zeigen, ist die Verarbeitung offenbar nicht immer einwandfrei. Aber das als Ersatz gelieferte Gerät ist okay. Dennoch wegen des Knackens nur 4 Punkte.

Un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. La qualità audio è buona e non si sente la mancanza del subwoofer, sebbene ci sia la possibilità di concerne uno tramite l'apposita uscita. Esteticamente si integra perfettamente con l'iMac.

Aunque descatalogado ya, logré encontrarlo aquí; cumple perfectamente mis espectativas y queda muy bien integrado con el Mac. La calidad del sonido más bien pobre ya que no es una barra de sonido al uso pues solo pretende encajar en la estética del Mac. Yo lo compre para tener otra salida de sonido independiente al Ordenador (la del Mac se me estropeó).

Lo recomiendo a todos los que tengan problemas para conectar su MacMini al Tv . Estético, funcional, calidad alta y facilidad de conexión
