After one or two sweaty workouts, the top coating gets just a little sticky. Leaving it out to dry helps after though. But great product nonetheless. Will buy a heavier set soon :)

A: I am not sure about the material. But they are attractive, very good grip, best value for money and yes, the stand is there.
I prefer these over metal dumbbells because they keep me motivated.
