Ames WalkerAW Style 190 E-Z Walker Plus Diabetic 8-15 mmHg Mild Compression Crew Socks White Large

I am a male diabetic who suffers from nuropathy. I have been looking for a quality pair of socks that will not squeez my legs. I was hoping that the Ames Walker socks were the answer and end to my search, but, it was not. The Ames Walker socks are very well made; better than any i have seen and tried, but they are still to tight around my calves. I will not be able to wear them. I want to return them. I bought the large size that fit my feet very well. I like the construction and the quality materials, but have to much elastic in the top part of the socks that fits your legs.

I have tried 5 different brands of Diabetic socks and the sixth, the Ames Walker is by far the best. I have some neuropathy and edema in my feet and the gentle compression helps the edema and doesn't bother my neuropathy. And wonder of wonders, these socks actually stay up! All the others eventually sagged around my ankles. After several washings, the Ames are still holding their shape. They are well made and very comfortable.

Love these socks ... and am about to order more, so that I have enough for every day. Since I often wear shorts here in warm Southern CA, I can't use the knee length compression socks that I wear with long pants

It was too tight on calves for my husband.
