The cables are of an excellent quality. However it is best to let them warm up to room temperature to ease installation, as they have a tendency to recoil.

Let's start with the most obvious thing. This cable is girthy but it needs to be girthy to meet the displayport 1.4 standard at 5m in length. You need to take that into consideration when purchasing as it can affect cable tidying and routing. In terms of functionality this cable works. It seems daft to have to point that out but there are a lot of cables that claim to support displayport 1.4 but don't. I have no drop outs or moments of black screens which you can experience on lesser cables. It also handles HDCP content with no issues, again lesser cables can cause crashing with HDCP content. If you need a long displayport 1.4 cable that actually meets the displayport 1.4 standard this cable is worth the price.

I have a new Benq SW271-4k monitor which support 10 bit RGB 4:4:4 but I was only using an old HDMI cable that ran at 18Gb/s from my Vega FE gpu. The best I could get was 4:2:2 with a lot of driver config. I need more bandwidth, the 48GB/s was a bit of overkill but since I wanted 3m I wanted to be sure and have spare capacity. Swapped out the old HDMI, replaced with this cable and booted and bang, everything configured automatically to 10 bit RGB 4:4:4 with no effort from me. Cable looks slick, thick, well built, fits well, it is stiff but but it isn't a problem. Very pleased, Benq looks great at reasonable price - I like the fact that it mentions its certifications as well

Unlike many DP cables that claim to support 4K resolution at 120Hz, this one actually does. I'm using it to connect my Samsung G7 monitor to my PC which has an RTX-3090 graphics card. While the Samsung G7 is only 1440P resolution it can go up to 240Hz, requiring a high performance DP cable. This cable provides excellent picture quality with no interference of any kind. It's obviously a very high quality cable and is very well made. The only thing I'd like to see changed is that the cable itself has a simple silicon rubber sleeve. I'd prefer some sort of nylon braided sleeve to make it a little bit more robust but that's a very minor complaint. Yes it's expensive for a display port cable but the build quality is excellent and unlike so many other cheapo cables it actually meets the stated specification. If you have a 4K, 1440P or very high refresh rate monitor then this is an excellent choice of cable.

I’ve had a few DP cables for use on an ASUS 4k 60hz monitor. All previous cables appear to suffer from poor connection at the monitor socket , often causing random resyncs and blank screen for several seconds. I never thought I would ever manage to get a 100% working cable. I needed to move my computer further away from my monitor - so got this 5m cable. Of course I expected problems - but no - this was perfect - good solid click into the monitor socket , no resyncs , no blank screens , I’m amazed and pleased.

Lo compré para sustituir el cable que venía junto con mi monitor QHD de 27 pulgadas ya que era más delgado y más corto. Éste es más grueso y los conectores que van a los puertos de DisplayPort se mantienen muy firmes. Mi monitor tiene una tasa de refresh de 144Hz, utilizo FreeSync y la PC no tuvo ningún problema para detectar esas características. Me enteré de esta marca y cable por comentarios que leí sobre el pin 20, ya que dicho pin lleva corriente y se utiliza para energizar dispositivos sin necesidad de fuente externa. Si bien también han comentado que si tu tarjeta de video fue fabricado después del 2017, entonces no deberías tener problemas, creo que no está de más asegurarse que el fabricante del cable cumpla su certificación VESA, y KabelDirekt es uno de ellos

I bought two of these cables and from what I can see so far there has been no stuttering or black screening whatsoever. In terms of quality they feel very premium compared to the cables that came with my monitors. Overall very good cables.
