Review: Best optics quality - I've ordered & tried SO many different OTC (Over The Counter) progressive specs, and have found the clarity quality of all Foster Grant progressives, to have the best and WIDEST, horizontal visual clarity for computer & reading without any distortion. I wear them a little low on my face to peek over the top of frame, when walking or focusing at far distances. It's BY FAR, the easiest focusing experience keeping them on my face all day, without any issues. Immediately able to SEE VERY NICELY upon putting them on, without needing any time to adjust to the optics, unlike a new pair of optical prescription progressive glasses, which usually DOES require "time to get used to them". They even beat the quality of the leading optical progressive lenses available, that supposedly have the widest field of view. They're called Varilux. l spent over $200.00 (not including frame), on that Varilux, which ended up being $ thrown out the window because I could never see with them. These "OTC" Foster Grants have been a true blessing, comfortably easy to use, with no hassle or headaches, upon wearing. ***VERY MUCH WORTH THE MONEY*** #BestOpticsWithFosterGrants
Review: Excellent product. Much better than my prescription progressives! - Great value for the money! Much better than a $350 pair of glasses from my optician. I bought these while I was waiting to see my eye doc and get new glasses made after cataract surgery. These worked really well, providing excellent clarity for reading close up, and computer work. I did notice its distance viewing was slightly less acute than the view with my newly corrected, cataract-free eyes, but not by much. When I got my new progressive prescription glasses, they were tough to wear because viewing anything away from the center was blurry and streaky. Apparently, this is because physics and optical law require the prescription to be applied to the lenses in the shape of an hour glass. I Googled it. But somehow, these Foster Grants are designed without those hourglass constraints and they work great!
