Unless I'm mistaken... you are looking for coverage when you buy mulch, not weight. Unless you need heavy mulch for your project....? Lowes is a 20lb bag for $7...at .8 cu ft. This bag is 40lb at 1.55 cu ft. You would expect about ~$14 for this... so idk why it'sso expensive. I'm going to lowes.
