Always buy this brand for every phone I've owned. Saved me countless accidents from drops, weather, water and the holster is great to keep it outta my back pocket potentially causing the glass on the front and back of a Samsung Galaxy s20 ultraUpdate 6/08/26: Been a year since I wrote above review. Got another new one on the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra for the second time for a reason.....best case on the planet. Been dropped, splashed, hit, thrown and it was still holding in the guts of my phone. New one is exactly the same. The holster finally broke the clip off the back snagging it on a cabinet. As long as I own a Samsung it'll be in an Otterbox case.

Love this case!! I had the same one for my Galaxy S8 and it FULLY protected my phone for 2 years. Never got even a scratch on my screen. (Never used screen protecter either) The top layer on the back did start to peel slightly towards the end of its use, but after 2 years of rugid use, I have zero complaints.When I purchased the S20, i went with a DIFFERENT case at first through Verizon and hated it instantly. The case had no grip, which was problematic for my small hands holding such a giant phone. The case was not raised higher than the phone so i needed a screen protector with it. Which was scratched to hell just by spending one day in my purse! And it did not block the ports to keep water out.So needless to say I returned that garbage and went back to this phone case because it is wonderful!!! The rubbery texture helps me hold onto phone, and the fact that the case is raised past the screen really does protect it from falls!! I still do not use a screen protector and have had zero problems. And this case covers the port to keep water out. The outer shell also comes in handy. Its very sturdy and holds up my phone well, and stays hooked to my pants with no issue.Highly recomend. Its worth the money.

I purchased this 3 years ago for my new phone, as I work in conditions where my phone may often be dropped and handled roughly! And through the entire time my phone has not sustained a single scratch or crack with this case. The case itself provides extra grip, and was also easy to take on and off without being incredibly loose on the phone!And as you can see with my photo, after those 3 years I certainly ran the outer casing ragged before replacing it. But even then, the inner solid casing kept my phone from any damage that would have occurred before I had the outer rubber layer replaced!While the case itself does add bulkiness to the overall size, i believe it is just a must have to keep you phone safe, especially if you're already investing into a higher end model phone!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It has a belt clip that doubles as a stand, and can become a complete protective shell over the front of the phone as well as the back.Design:my favorite design ever. The clip is super handy to keep it nearby and securely attached to me while i work.Functionality:The best part. It is durable. The back casing stays on at all times, but the front casing can be detached and doubled up on the back, or kept over the front creating an entire shell around your phone when doing rigorous activities.

The phone case was just fine. It protected what it covered, however, there is no protection for the screen or the camera. I gave my phone to my sone with what I thought was the best protection I could provide, the OtterBox. He dropped a couple of times while out in the ocean fishing. He completely destroyed the front screen and the screen on the camera lenses. I will try to have the screens fixed and find some heavy duty screen and camera lense protectors.

Fits perfect. Wore my old one out and reordered this new one. Tried others and never like them in the past.

The moment I bought this case, I cancelled my phone's insurance. That was two years ago. And I have not regretted that decision ever since. I bought a new one after two years because for cosmetic reasons but I could have still used the old one for another two years if it was only to protect my phone. My phone falls and my heart does not drop with it. I pick it up without a care in the world. That is what I expect from a phone case and this one delivers it. I recommend a screen protector for your screen because it does not cover your screen. In my case, I use a silicon-like screen protector with it and not a glass one. The case design is great. It feels strong. It is not slippery. You're able to access every port of the phone without difficulty.

I was going to get the Otterbox commuter case, but I'm glad I chose to get the Defender instead.Pros:- The rubber makes the case grippier, so it will be a lot harder to slip out of our fingers.- The lips/edges are larger than most cases, so the screen won't touch the surface when laid face down- Camera is secured and won't touch surfaces when the phone is laid on its backside.- The belt hip holster is durable and provides more protection for the screen.- Wireless charging compatible- Power/volume buttons are clicky and responsive- The case feels indestructible.Cons:- Some people may complain about the weight/bulkiness. But for me it's not that noticeable. I was actually surprised by how sleek it looksIn short, this case is amazing, I have no worries about dropping my s20 ultra now. I'll be getting a defender case for all my future phones.

Good quality product, for me years using this brand its the best

This Otterbox for my S20 Ultra is just as good as the one I had on my S9 plus and my iPhone 6s. They have been consistently good. When I had my iPhone 6S all those years ago is when I began to stop paying insurance and take the risk with rugged cases. I tired various cases opting for a Griffin Survivor for a period. But I found it made the phone too bulky, the rubber too grippy and the USB port flaps came off. Eventually I got an Otterbox Defender for it and have not looked back since. I even got my wife using them, although she uses the Commuter series for her phone (and previous).My Defender for the S9 plus lasted from May 2018 and is still going strong in September 2020, with only a slight bit of gape around the circumference where it has been removed a few times.But now I am on my S20 Ultra. This Defender case from Otterbox arrived in the usual packaging.It is much the same design as I am used to. Perfect combination of grip and sleekness. Grippy enough in my sweaty palm, but still sleek enough to slide into my jeans pocket.It is clearly a high standard of protection and looking at the case I have no reason to doubt any of the claims made by Otterbox in regard to its levels of protection.5G works with it. I tried it in Plymouth city centre and the case seems to cause it no issues.The buttons and flaps work perfectly well.The edge is flawless at the moment.A five star product.
