I had ordered a different brand that was supposedly high quality and made in Germany but it didn't fit in my projector port correctly. Apparently, I wasn't the only person with this problem with this cable. Well, this cable from BlueRigger it a perfect fit and it stays put in my projector and Onkyo receiver, providing crystal clear perfect audio of all types (pure stereo, Dolby, etc). I am so glad that I chose this cable, it is 100% trouble free, good quality, and has great performance.

Needed to get the optical audio out from the wall mounted tv down to the A/V reciever for the surround. The 15ft cable worked just right to drop down and out the wall via the brush plates. Cable was flexible enough, yet durable. No need to spend more on the expensive brands. There are several other lengths offered by BlueRigger. Would definitely purchased again, which I already have.

This cable is very supple and can be bent in a sharp angle. The part of the connector that slides into the socket fits the socket very closely so that the connection has no wiggle to it. The same part is soft enough so that the engagement click doesn't require too much force to plug and unplug. The molded parts are very attractive and hold the cable for a securely in place. I have purchased several of these cables and they have all worked perfectly.

I'm updating my review. The company that sells this cable stands behind their product and refunded my purchase price and they did that on their own with no prompting by myself. Honor is what you do when no one else is looking and I have to give them two thumbs up for that - I doubt many companies back up their products that conscientiously if the product is junk. So, I have to believe that this is actually a good cable and I just got a defective item or an item that has been sold and returned and resold by Amazon, so it's easy to think that the fiber optic core of this particular cable has been damaged or fractured. When the time comes that I am searching for a new toslink cable, I'll definitely keep this one on my list. Having said all that, for any cable, not just this one, test it immediately and if the sound is wrong - send it back right away. I got this cable to replace an older and much longer toslink cable that looks a great deal like the Monoprice Premium cable, but is not marked with any company logo. That cable started dropping signal intermittently (the connectors started coming loose) so I replaced it with the BlueRigger cable. Right away I noticed that the sound was a lot different and not in a good way. Harsher, particularly on the high end. Just to be certain, I went back to my older cable, taped the connectors tight with the jacket and magically the sound quality came right back. Lots of folks say that it's just ones and zeros so there's no way that the cable can make a difference in the sound, but my experience is exactly opposite of that. The cable DOES make a difference and this one sucks. Not recommended at all.

I needed a Toslink audio cable to attach a media center computer I had just purchased to my home theater sound system and the fastest, the best, and the least expensive way to get one is to order it from Amazon. I initially ordered this Mediabridge - Toslink Cable - Optical Digital Audio Cable - 10 feet as I had ordered Mediabridge products in the past and was satisfied with them. Not this one, though. I use a C2G / Cables to Go 40324 3-Play Component Video and TOSLINK Digital Audio High Performance Selector Switch (Black) in conjunction with my home theater setup and, though this cable appeared to be well-made, it just would not fit into the Toslink port on the the switch box. I telephoned Mediabridge and they told me that they were aware of their cable not fitting into all devices (this was mentioned in some of the 1-star reviews to which I should have paid more attention). So I returned it to Amazon (an easy and convenient process) and the same day I returned it, I ordered this BlueRigger Digital Optical Audio Toslink Cable(10 feet) . It is very well-made and it fits perfectly into the ports where I need it. Based on its physical design, I am certain that it will fit into any device which uses a Toslink cable. It works perfectly too, carrying and transferring sound in whatever format the source supplies including, of course, full surround sound in DTS and/or Dolby Digital. I always like to have spares so, as this cable delivers excellent value for money and as I like it so much, yesterday I ordered three more of them! I highly recommend this BlueRigger Toslink cable to you. I'm sure you'll like it too.

non ho necessità particolari di qualità Lo uso per collegare il decoder Sky all'impianto hifi e funziona benone. Prezzo veramente ottimo e sembra anche ben costruito.
