Premium USB Powered Metal Cooler Pad with 3 Built-in Fans for Laptop Computer

I bought this to replace an aging Zalman cooler, really good deal at the price. It helps keep my Alienware gaming laptop cooler, doing a better job than the Zalman did. It's also a lot lighter. It would be nice if it had a speed control, but even running 100% of the time at full speed, it's not that noisy.Plus it has the huge advantage that if a fan goes out on it, any 5v 60mm fan thinner than 15mm can be used as a replacement. The only minor downside to this, and any other cooler for that matter, is that you tend to collect a bit of dust on the bottom of the laptop. That's easily dealt with, a quick spray of compressed air from one of those aerosol cans, and you're good to go.

I needed fans to add some cooling to an Ikea TV cabinet where I keep all my electronics (receiver, router, NAS, modem, PS, Roku, etc). So instead of spending $11 bucks for each separate fan (here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CFWDSL1/?coliid=I35JEUB0BURGJU&colid=1Q1ZSKXI6GNED&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it), I just bought this cheap laptop cooler and removed the fans... added a little bit of wiring and my TV cabinet has cooling now.The actual laptop cooler is too small for use with anything greater than a 13-inch laptop so I would not recommend it for that purpose.

seems like a high quality build as it is made out of metal. does the job just fine. I gave it a 4 star because the fans are louder than other cooling pads I have owned.

I'm going to order another and it could be this brand again. But, please realize it will start to degrade and not be so "whisper quiet" after around Three (3) years time. More like an old Volkswagen beetle! It would be nice to simply ship it back to the vendor for a little bench maintenance. But, then you've got the cost of the techie, etc. Perhaps the device simply needs to be engineered with a little bit more rigidity. Otherwise, for the initial Three (3) year timeframe "No hay problema!"

Nice though noisy. More so than some other coolers I've owned. Don't know if it is the fans resonating off of the metal framing or whether the fans are simply noisy.I do like the various nylon stops and buttons which hold the laptop in place. I use this one with my 15.6 inch laptops even though it is actually a bit smaller. Those three fans do keep the laptop cooler.

First one lasted five years, this one should do the same. Made of steel with three separate mini muffin fan motors. Keeps the older Dell and HP laptop internal processors nice and cool! Weatherbug

I guess I should have spent a little more and gone to the store because it came broken. The box was messed up so should have realized that and then when I plugged it into my laptop only the middle fan really worked. The one on the left does not spin at all as you can see in the photo and the right fan is on its way to dying. If you want this product be ready to not have a product work. When I bought it they only had 15 or something left so I assume that the rest they have left are broken they are just trying to make money off buy suckering people into getting it. Tried to return it with amazon and there were problems so yeah left with broken merchandise. I wanted this to work now I have to spend more money and go to Walmart because obviously they are going to be better than amazon.
