Wow great screen for the money. I kept reading about this Carl person and how their screens are high quality and what not. This one is great! Super smooth, came well packaged and easy to install. You can get up to 130” to be projected on, that’s my fina numbers.

So I did this project twice using the same screen and it held up very nicely! Here is what I learned as I am new to DIYing. I followed the video instructions on this page that tells you to do it with garden stakes and zip ties, this is the method I would recommend because it allows for error and reusability. If you cut it to size and staple it directly to the wood it's going to expand and contract and you will not have a way to tighten it. The first time I used 2x4 pieces of common wood. This was my first mistake. The frame was warped, huge and heavy. I also learned that if don't lay your pieces down on the floor to make sure they are not bowed, you are going to have a bad time. In the picture (my second attempt) I used pine wood trim. This was superb as it was straight, lightweight and easily held together by heavy duty staples. When I purchased my screen it came with the felt, but I destroyed it the first time so I'll be purchasing another. It does look better with felt because it hides the slightly overflowing image of the projection if you don't have it perfect. The zip ties CAN dimple and puncture the screen if you are not careful. I am really happy with how it turned out and it made my theater room look more purposed instead of just two speakers on a wall. But this project is full of learning experiences and you must be prepared to put the effort in. Otherwise just paint the wall white.

First off the Fabric is great.. this and stretchy and good quality, however a few things ti be aware of while ordering and building the screen. 1. Does not come with fabric tape for blacking out the edges of screen ( photos misleading as they show the tape) will have to order and also the tape had a 2 week delivery even for prime members to CA. 2. The method they show for building the frame is not great, the zip tie idea in the video seemed great but real time application it took a good 2-3 hours .. frame itself is easy, but stretching the fabric with zip ties is not. Its differcult to get a full stretch which is very important for a pleasing viewing experience. I ended up doing it the old fashion way I did my old screen the last time I owed a projector and just stapled it like you would prep a canvas board for art. Starting in the center and lay the first stretch and work your way out stretching and staple as you go working outwards to each edge. Other than that the screen is bright and contrast and colors are good,

I wish i could give it a negative 5 star review. I tried everything to make it smooth. The tape, i tried material. I even used spray adhesive. Nothing worked. I got it very close but in the end I couldn't get it smooth. The original screen had pockets for the sticks to fit in. This allowed the screen to be stretched evenly. This is only a flat screen, so as soon as you set the sticks the screen just rolls underneath. If you don't care if your screen is smooth than i guess this is ok.

It was perfectly packed. Cardboard box , plastic warp , cardboard roll box and another plastic wrap . It arrived perfectly . And that shows how much the company care about their customer to receive product in perfect condition . If we talk about the quality of product that is also phenomenal. No light pass through the screen so you can exactly get %100 of what your projector delivers .

I ordered this to make a screen for my projector. And to my surprise this material made the job easy and painless. It pulled tight and went on to my frame with no issues, and as a screen it does an amazing job. Consider this was a budget build and I understand those limitations, but this screen impressed me.

I went through 3 screen materials building my home theater. This was by far the best screen for a great price. The picture comes out great. Mine is in the basement with quarter window wells so theres light but not much. Half of my basement has to be lighted to see properly and it still illuminates great. Highly recommend for first time home theater builders and someone looking not to break budget with the satisfaction of a great quality screen!

I have looked all over for screen material this size. Very hard to find. Also too many companies ship their screens folded and they come very wrinkly and stay like that for the longest time. This screen however was packed very well. I'm very impressed how it was shipped. Amazon did a bad job of boxing it, but thankfully the seller ships this in a long heavy duty tube and also an inner tube as well. Then even have a protective sheet of paper between the screen when rolled. So even though Amazon just sloppily taped two boxes together with no packing or padding, it came undamaged because seller did such a good job. As for the actual screen...I usually use black out material form our local fabric store and it works great, but the width is limited to 54 inches and I needed bigger. This scree is HUGE and I made a wood frame to stretch and staple this screen onto it. Like you would for an artist's painting canvas. I hung it on my wall and it is FABULOUS! It reflects the projector's light evenly and brilliantly. Like photo paper compared to normal printing paper. I don't know the technology behind how this screen is made but all I know it that it is the best. It makes my cheap projector seem like it's one of those expensive home entertainment projectors. Really improves the quality of the video/images. Blacks are blacker....colours are more brilliant. The price is very good considering what you get. I complain a lot and am hard to please....but I'm very happy with this product and how well it is packed by the seller.

I found the screen scratch. I can work with it but I found that disappointing.

So as post people have reviewed this product this is my first time building a projector screen and working with projector material and it was fairly simple!. I used some 1x3’s and build a sturdy square frame, next I brought in the material into the room I was setting up the screen unrolled it and let it sit on a flat sheet of 4x8 for two days. Next I started in one corner and with the help of my wife slowly stretched the material and added staples to back as I went along. The material does crease easily so keep that in mind but all in all I found this project quite relaxing. If I could give any solid advice with working with this material it would be to not get into a rush, think about how you’re going to cut you’re corners and I’d possible allow you’re self some wiggle room incase and accident happens then you haven’t just ruined a 100$ piece of material.

The picture is so misleading it belongs on Temu. If you are looking for that thickness or texture, in other words, a product that would fold like, or appears to be anything like in the image - forget it! It's a light film, thin as paper. The quality of the previous similar product I had is far superior compared to this.
