Love these small books to carry around and make quick notes in about projects I am working on. They are also handy to carry when my grandkids need something to occupy them while driving. This with a few crayons keep them entertained.

These are very durable and handy. They are mostly shirt-pocket size (some shirts are shrinking pockets - so these will become back pocket booklets). I use them for informal meeting notes and also for project planning/execution. When not in use they easily fit into file folders for retrieval. I am a 'list person' and these work for me.

For years I've carried a small notebook with me wherever I go. It became such a necessity that I started keeping another on my desk for jotting down notes and recording flashes of inspiration. My notebook of choice was the Field Notes brand. It was a perfect size and had a sturdy cover enclosing 48 pages of perfect writing paper. At $10 for a 3-pack, they seemed a bit pricey, but worth every penny to me. I have also used the hardcover, black-bound Moleskine books for decades. On a whim last year I decided to replace my beloved Field Notes books with the Moleskine alternative. I couldn't be more pleased. They're a dollar cheaper per 3-pack. Each notebook has 16 more pages, stitched instead of stapled, of the same quality as their larger cousins. They're equally sturdy and equally convenient. It's a no-brainer. Of course, they don't have the hyped prestige of the Field Notes books, and the "in crowd" will likely sneer at your choice. You can use four of the additional 16 pages to write about it -- and still have a dozen more for whatever else you fancy.

I use the regular pocket moleskines (with the faux leather and elastic band) for journaling at home but these cahiers go with me everywhere. I like the pocket size, the look of the cardboard cover (plain and very low profile), and writing on the pages are as good as it gets. I find it amazingly useful for jotting down quick notes here and there. It takes awhile to fill up the pages, at least for me. My friends jot notes on their phones but I just can't get use to doing that. I like writing stuff and flipping through pages I've written on....but that's just me. These cahiers go in and out of my pocket and in and out of my purse and the cardboard cover holds up well. I'm currently looking for a decent pen I can easily hook to this cahier.

Nothing is as nice is writing in a moleskine notebook. I don't know what it is about these little books, but they beg to be written in. I bought this little pack of three to carry in my handbag. I make notes of websites I want to check out, addresses or phone numbers I need to remember, things i need to add to my "to do" list, and on and on. My memory takes a beating with all the details I come into contact with each day, and it's a relief to me and my poor brain to have a place to jot it down and put it out of my mind until i need the info. These are small, about the size of my hand, and they tuck into a pocket easily. Easily decorated if you like to do art on your notebooks. In fact, the plain brown cover cries for some artistic endeavor. Nice size, nice notebook.

Not a lot to say here. Serves its purpose. Fits a "detective wallet" I bought. Bought this product on-line because, strangely, four local sources did not stock, or were out of stock. (Too much boutique in San Francisco?) This is a shop-around deal that is probably cheapest from brick-and- mortar. Be cautious tearing out pages. Saddle bound, meaning that to tear-out a front page leaves a back page unbound. The manufacturer could perforate all pages near the binding (some are perforated), but likely we would not manage to tear on the dotted line anyway. Cheap enough to practice our careful tear -- should we remember. Five-months in, I'm still on my first book. Bigger trials than loose pages.

LOVE these notepads. Half of the pages are perforated to tear out, but don't if you don't give them force on purpose. Unlike those Mead and other major-brand school notebooks that always fall apart halfway through a quarter. Although they're missing the nice cover and bookmark ribbon, they still have a flap in back to hold loose notes and they've a stitched binding to keep your pages secure. The three pack is terrific, I ordered them without any specific task in mind and ended up dedicating all of them within the week. One is for recording my hourly clock-ins and pay for work, the super-thin size allows me to carry it behind my wallet without discomfort, which makes sure it's always on me to record my punches immediately so I don't miss a dime. Essential to my daily life.
