Both cars were cool for about an hour, then the gears started slipping. I took them apart to reset the wheel axle and had to repeat this step every 15 minutes of use after the initial hour. Kids loved them, so did this about a dozen times. The plastic on the inside was held on by a screw that just slid in and out. I hot-glued them, only to have the front wheels stop turning withing the next 40 minutes of use. Cool concept, absolutely terrible quality control. Don't waste your money here.

Fun little rc car!! range is short...but if you stand up and follow it around you can keep control of it.it is fast too,good to race.but if you want to get two of these get this one and a different kind of one or else you will get duplicates.it does not have power but that is not what you are looking for.l definitely recommend this rc.

you can't choose the car you want... the instructions are easy to follow you need 2 duble A batteries. As for durability, I'd rather not find out, it looks and feels like it will break if it gets stepped on. other than that its very fun to play with.

Knowing that these toys didn't get the greatest reviews and only paying $8 I went ahead and bought one anyway. I got what I paid for and have no problems with that part. I bought this for a cat toy that I could have a bit more control over and it did work for that for about 8 minutes. After that it was jerks and spurts for another couple of minutes then it died in service. One of the brake lights was DOA and it did have the decency to start blinking the headlights before it passed on to that freeway up yonder, letting me know that it was tired of it's earthly toil. Even for the low cost I did expect more and I will be returning this one in hopes of a working model to keep my cats on their toes. In buying a low cost, overly mass produced product like this one, I expect a large number of failures, hence why it has three stars and not one. If I had to layout $25 or more, it would raise my ire to a less generous level.

I was pretty disapointed in these. I purchased 2 for a white elephant party. One family ended up with both of them but we could only get one car working. The second car's the lights would turn on and would kinda sputter when we tried the remote. We used fresh batteries and gave a generous hour for the cars to charge.

For such a little, inexpensive remote - this thing was great. Our 5 year old daughter loved playing with this. After daily use for a little over a month, we did seem to begin to lose the rubber tires. However, it is definitely "priced right" and the novelty of the can case was pretty cool.

My son loves it! It is quite tiny, but it’s quick and works well!
