5A Nylon Drum Sticks with Anti Slip Handles

I have been taking cardio drumming classes at our local fitness center and wanted new drumsticks to use. These are great! They are lightweight, and easy to grip, no matter how sweaty my hands become. I like the bright colors and that I got two sets for the money. I can't really speak to whether they would be good for actual drums, but they are great for fitness drumming!

After 50~ years of wanting my own drum kit, I finally got one! Yay me! I grabbed some electric drums with mesh heads, and have been enjoying the hell out of them! I’ve been using my favorite Vic Firth 5A sticks, and as I do now, I have always loved them! The only problem is, I’m not this amazing drummer who rips around the set flawlessly. I’m just a guitarist who has always loved the drums. Not having any sort of technique down, I manage to involuntarily toss my sticks across the room, sending my cat out the door in fear of her life! I’m just clumsy that way! 🤷🏽‍♂️ I also grabbed a decent practice pad, and the Vic’s just don’t seem to fit right for some reason. So they wind up sticking out of an adjacent wall, or impaling my guitar amp or pictures. I saw these, and it looked like they would be perfect for me to practice with throughout my learning stage! They had great reviews, looked amazing, and were recommended for mesh drum heads. I was still leery though; they looked much lighter, and they looked like a kid’s toy. I’m a big kid, so I bought them… When they arrived, they were very nice! The weight was good; not as heavy as Vic likes, but plenty heavy enough, and the grip seemed perfect! But, one set sat in my stick holder, and the other set in the stick holder of the practice pad bag. I guess I was still leery about them. I finally tried them out, and !holy frijole!, they were awesome! The slightly lighter weight made it easier to move around the set, and that grip! I only dropped them once, due to my stick challenged hands, and they hit the ground next to me! There was no launching the across the room! Unfortunately, my cat won’t come in the house when I get anywhere near my kit, and I still have challenged hands. But we don’t talk about that when they’re exposed. They’re a little sensitive about it.

Great sticks with really nice rubber grips!!

Pretty good, but I prefer wood so I don't reach for them as I thought I would. When my hands get sweaty and I start tossing wood sticks, then I reach for these. The feel is a bit heavy for me, but they are good sticks.

It’s been over 10 years since I’ve sat on a thrown and jammed on any kind of drum kit, and with these new sticks I’ve been having an amazing experience knowing that the skills never left me. The nonslip sleeves are a great feature for “everlasting” grip and helps me stay on beat without the worry of my sticks taking a vacation from my hands. For the price and the durable lightweight feel, these are great drum sticks for pros or beginners.

sturdy

These are fantastic for extreme metal drumming on an electric kit. The sticks are slightly flexible which make the hit impact on the mesh and the rebound feel so much better in my opinion. Also the grips are superior to the dipped grips on my previous zildjian sticks. Also the color matches my goofy little kit!

Great for drum fit exercise class. And an extra pair for a friend

Solid and durable. Very please with them.
