First and foremost, lets say what this is NOT: This helmet is not intended to offer facial protection during a crash. The visor and face shield of this helmet protect from the wind, noise, etc. If you want a helmet to protect your face during a crash, prepare to shell out a lot more $$$$. Now, let's discuss what this really is: It is a super comfortable, very durable, quiet, and cool looking bike helmet. I have an e-bike and like to protect my most vital parts. Whereas, it is too late to do anything about my face (blame my parents), I want to protect my head. Some people would argue there isn't much in there to protect, but I want to take care of what little I have. My wife and I bought two of these, and both of us found them to be on the small side. We were able to return them and get the next size up and they fit great. Considering the features, this is an outstanding value. I find it to be warm in cooler weather, and cool (with front off or open) during hot days. The padding is durable and has not shown any signs of wear after a year of use. I wear glasses, and this helmet makes it easy for me to put them on after I put the helmet on my head, and there is still plenty of space to lower the visor. I absolutely love the helmet and seriously recommend it. Just don't forget, they run small, so order a size bigger.

Great helmet and excellent quality. I have a big head, and this is the first helmet I’ve ordered in a 2XL that actually fits comfortably. The liner and padding are super soft, making it very comfortable to wear. I bought mine on sale, but after wearing it, I’d gladly pay full price for it. I would definitely buy this helmet again. The only thing I’d change is moving the release buttons to the outside of the mask so they’re easier to use while wearing gloves. Without gloves, they’re easy enough to operate. Overall, it’s a great helmet that’s true to size, comfortable, and well made. If you’re on the fence, buy one. You won’t regret it.

The helmet itself is great. Very comfortable and the padding is nice and soft. Even though it doesn't completely cover the chin and has a gap at the bottom, it did surprising well to keep the dust out of my face during our ride. Only fogged up a little when we hit some rainy areas and rhe temperatures changed. Very impressed for this style of helmet. The only issue is with the sizing. I measured exactly in the middle of the large size according to the guide provided. But when I got the helmet it was too tight. I returned it and got the next size up and it fit perfectly. No other complaints, a great helmet.

4 days after we purchased this helmet, I am purchasing another because it did it’s job. Our daughter was involved in a bad accident, hospital staff told her the reason she was able to come home form it was because she was wearing a helmet. It took the impact, the crack where she would have hit the back of her head spidered up the back of the helmet, but protected her brain stem and skull. She loves the helmet and said it was very comfortable to wear. I’m purchasing the same thing again.

The description only says this helmet is DOT rated, not ECE 22.06. So I was quite surprised when it came with an ECE sticker on the back! The helmet itself is pretty good. I'm using it for e-biking, not motorcycling. I found that even at low speeds biking uphill, this was ventilated enough for me not to overheat in 80 degree weather. Closing the vents will probably make it nice and warm in the winter, too. Very light (3lb I think? Medium size) so it didn't feel awkward at low speed. The tinted visor is dark enough to block the sun, and the sun visor is an nice touch. At 35mph, I feel protected enough by the chin guard (which "does not protect chin from impacts") but I wouldn't want to use this at higher speeds on a motorcycle. The helmet also has speaker slots, which will be nice. My biggest issue is how tight it is putting it on. I'm getting better at it, so maybe it's just me, but it's tighter than another full face helmet I tried. Overall, great value for $90. Especially with ECE 22.06! Also, if you don't like the style, look at the ILM Z302, which has more color options and looks better (in my opinion).

This is a great helmet for the price. It looks so cool and yet is very comfortable and seems to fit well. I'm right in between the Medium and Large head measurements and I went with Large and it fits perfect! I'm using this for an escooter that doesn't go more than 50 MPH. I don't know if I would use this helmet for a motorcycle that goes a lot faster because the chin guard piece is not DOT certified. Although it's a hard plastic piece which is nice (unlike some other helmets where the chin guard is totally flexible like Scorpion), so it should provide some chin/jaw protection, but not as much as the rest of the helmet. For escooter or ebike purposes or even a motor scooter, this helmet should be fine. I like how the shape of the helmet has some contours. Some other helmets are simply too round and bubble-like so you look like a mushroom or something. This helmet has a great shape to it. The chin strap with the release tab is just perfect also, no fooling around with a D-ring or anything like that. The flip up visor is great and super convenient to open and close. I keep the top cap part on the helmet all the time as it does provide some further shielding from the sun. This piece is adjustable and removable however and they even give you some plastic plug pieces so put in the holes. Wind noise is actually quieter than some other helmets I've tried, although it does start to get a bit noisy above about 45 MPH, unlike some full motorcycle helmets which can be almost totally silent at high speeds. Usually I'm not going super fast though so I barely even notice any wind noise. You tend to look quite intimidating with the tinted visor down and people can't see your face. When I'm walking my scooter out of my condo (or back in) I tend to flip the visor up so neighbors can see it's me and they won't get scared. This is also good if you want to stop and talk to someone, or you can even remove the chin guard piece as it comes totally off. It's a bit tricky to put back on while you're wearing the helmet though it's possible. In all, there probably is no such thing as a perfect helmet but for my needs, this helmet is nearly perfect, and at a great price!

I actually bought this for snowboarding, cause 40% of snowboarding is looking cool. Fake it till you make it. I’m obviously too broke for a RuRoc or Scorpion helmet. Not really, I just don’t go enough to justify the cost. But this helmet looked great online so I have it a shot and I wasn’t disappointed. The inside is actually fleece lined so it’s really comfortable, and there’s adjustable vents on the top and in the face piece. The chin strap is an easy pull release, very similar to that of a snowboard binding. So theres no F’ing around with trying to loop the strap through two D rings in a specific way. It just clicks right in, and you pull to release. The visor folds down really easily, though I wish it also came with the clear visor cause I may wanna just use my sunglasses underneath since they’re polarized. But that brings me into why it only got 4 stars. There’s no real room for glasses with this helmet. I squeezed my regular glasses on after putting the helmet on, but they’re a very thing and flexible frame. I wouldn’t think sunglasses which typically have a thicker frame would fit very comfortably. A lot of helmets I’ve had in the past have a split in the cushion going back to the ears specifically so then glasses can fit comfortably, but these do not. Another minor issue is that it fits pretty tight. A large usually fits me perfectly but this helmet feels a tad small. Not overly small, in fact it may just be that I’m not used to such a shallow face guard (as opposed to like a dirt bike helmet that sticks out a few more inches) I can almost lick the inside of this face guard. But I’ll get used to it. And maybe that’s how I’ll open and close the front vent LOL All in all a very nice helmet at a great price. Will definitely recommend to my friends Edit: I dropped a star cause it fogs up really easily, especially if you use it for snowboarding, which is probably not it’s recommended use, but there it is

I was worried that it would be lose or to tight. But honestly it fit perfectly. I was very pleased with that and for the price it was well worth it. Chin strap is comfortable and secure. It's a bit warm but once you start moving it feels cooler. Got it for my ebike.

I can say the sizing chart is accurate. The helmet fits exceptionally well and is very comfortable. The chin is easily removable and so is the peak. The flip down visor is easy to flip up and down with a single finger while driving. The matte black finish is very nice. I have heard some say the wind noise is bad. Personally I think it's very tolerable. I am overall very pleased with this helmet.
