Very sweet book. Rhyming, different berries and beautiful illustrations. Very imaginative!

This is our favorite children’s book! We read it every night, and I have it memorized at this point. I love that it has a lot of fun and colorful pictures with things for the littles to find. It’s easy and fun to read for adults too! I buy it for every baby shower I go to. Highly recommend.

My favorite book in the whole world. I every kid should have this to read.

This lyrical, fantastical journey of berries is a great read-aloud. As a bonus I think that it's good advertisement to help children to eat a nutritious berry snack as they associate berries with the fun adventures in the story.

Yummy berries and clever, adventure-filled illustrations. The simplistic poetry is in character with the cheerful Huckleberry-esque backwoods bear who acts as a boy's guide through the fantastic Berryland in the woods next to his house. Rustic, whimsical, and refreshingly sweet, much like the experience of berry picking itself, this is what the author intended if you read the dedication in the back. I wonder if the off-beat, topsy-turvy bear with the beat up hat is tribute to his grandpa. I read the book as if the bear were narrating, so the author may have intentionally avoided formality in the text. Notice no punctuation, loose rhyme, and sauntering momentum--yes, very laid-back and unrefined like a vagrant backwoods bear would be. He may have a top hat and try his nose at "Po: a tree" once in a moon, but the hat is merely a token of whimsy for this bumbling bear that falls with ease into every exciting happening in the land. He may be unrefined, but he is clearly likeable and knows the good things in life.

Kids and adults enjoy this well written and beautifully illustrated fun story.

I fell in love with jamberry on first read from the library, and hundreds of readings and two years later still love it. (Of course, I love berries, too!). We never get board of it. Degen's artwork and fancifully exhuberant story deeply inspires my own creativity, and the rare book that a parent doesn't eventually tire of rereading is worth its weight in platinum! I checked out all editions and choose to buy the board book not only for durability when my daughter was around 18 months, but even more because the paperback and hardcover reprints available now are blown up to the 12 inch size from the original 9 inch tall edition and the illustrations seemed much less attractive to me than the board book. This is one of my all time favourite children's book, sharing this sacred spot with Cat's Pajamas and A Fairy Went a-Marketing (Unicorn) . We have an audio cassette of it that is very well done as well and we used it quite a bit in the past. We just bought Jesse Bear, What Will You Wear? in board form as a "companion" book for Jamberry.

2.5 year old loves this book. Wonderful colors and visuals, great rhymes

This book is a wonderful read with beautiful illustrations. The book reads like a beautiful poem with the words sliding off your tongue with ease, in fact, it reads like a poem, capturing the attention of my two-year-old, who has already begun to read along with me. kindle版がお安かったので試しに購入。ipad上では絵が若干小さめですが、充分楽しんでます。表紙の絵が可愛らしいので購入したのですが、中身も同様にカラフルな色使いの細部にわたる可愛らしい絵にあふれています。リズミカルな言葉遊びで、声に出して読むのも楽しいです。おすすめです。

Delivered as advertised and in perfect condition. This is an awesome book to read to 1 year old+. Great pics, and engaging sing-song words. A classic that I read to my son decades ago, and now Grandma approved!

mes enfants adore ce livre. i bought this on reccomendation and my kids both love it. even i enjoy reading it out loud. very cute.
