Designed for wild and women. This hiker is engineered for the way women move, offering support, alignment, and gender-specific stability. Review: Love these shoes...but not waterproof - I love these shoes. Have two pair, and plan to buy another. Supportive, light, comfortable. I really can feel where I am walking, and that is in a good way. That said, they are not waterproof. Quite the opposite. Cool and airy. Not for cold days if you tend to have cold feet. Also, if the ground is wet, your feet will be too. The sole is minimal, and any water on the trail will come up over the edge of the sole and into the shoe. That said, they dry fast! I love these though - just be aware, you will feel the water if you walk through it. P.S. I also love them for aerobics class. Better than dancing shoes as I don't trip over clunky soles....and very cool. Review: Love these shoes! - I was looking for shoes to wear while I work as a server-something comfortable, but sturdy and with some grip. These shoes are perfect. They are lightweight, but don't feel flimsy. They are VERY comfortable. I do like something with a bit more arch and heal support though, so I put in inserts. I normally squeeze a size 10 off the rack(since its readily available), but my running shoes are an 11, so I bought a 10 1/2 and they fit perfect. Hopefully, they hold out...only time will tell.

Glad this shoe was recommended to me!!
These shoes were recommended to me by a woman in my walking group. I have a high arch and it's tough to find good fitting shoes that are comfortable to walk in. I love these!! After wearing them off and on for a week they are my new go to walking or hiking shoe! Light and comfortable! Well made and I can already tell my toes are going through the top of these! When you order they are true to size. I wear a 7 1/2 and that's what bought. They are just right and I can wear them with no sock or a my favorite (bamboo) socks!

Merrels always deliver, for me!
I liked the color. A lot. I don't like flashy or colorful shoes, and so many running shoes are. They felt a little tight across the first lace point, so I skipped those laces. I have really high arches, so I had to add my inserts and that is probably the reason for the tightness. I wear these at work on hard surfaces, for 6 hour stretches and these do fine. My feet also get hot, so I love that these are mesh. Merrels are great shoes!

Best walking shoe EVER
Best walking shoe EVER! This is my second purchase of this same shoe/different color. Fit perfectly first time on, no "break in" necessary. Very comfortable and supportive structure. Love that the ties don't need to be double tied to keep them from coming undone. Took my first pair on a 24 day cruise vacation as my primary walking shoe and had zero issues. Came back and immediately ordered another pair. A bit pricey but totally worth it as they perform as advertised!!!!!!!!

No padded tongue.
It’s a great shoe. Very light weight and fits a bit wider than it looks. I work in a clinic all day and am on my feet. In the summer I wear short no show socks. These shoes, weirdly, do not have a padded tongue. It’s like two pieces of fabric sewn together and it rubs on my ankles. If you wear long socks, they might be okay, but these will have to go back. Merrells usually fit perfectly right out of the box (if you order a half size up), so a bit disappointed. But there are lots of other options. The one on the left is this shoe. The one on the right is the pair I was trying to replace (they do wear out).

Best purchase ever
I purchased these shoes for biking but they are also my best hiking/adventuring shoes. 100% great fit and comfort for my bad feet. Love the color, the style and the light weight.

Love it!
This is an amazing sneaker! I had a very hard time deciding which sneaker to get because there are so many to chose from. I wore them on my trip to Australia and I did a ton of walking. My feet loved them! No sweating, no blisters, no aches. It was like walking on clouds. I’m a solid 7, and they fit perfectly. My feet are not narrow or overly wide. It’s a great looking shoe. They aren’t chunky looking or loud and bright. They aren’t narrow looking either. My laces stayed tied, which is important. No rocks, sand or pebbles got into my shoe. They feel light on my feet, yet not too light that they feel cheap. I’ve worn them quite a bit and they still look good as new. I get a ton of compliments and even though I got the blue pair they go with everything. They are also a good shape for ankle socks. Some sneakers dip to low and too much sock sticks out. I wore these shoes hiking up a pretty steep mountain in upstate NY. They gripped the rock really well on my way up and down. They don’t have a vibram sole, but the Merrill sole was just as good and could handle the rough trails I was on. For $100 this was great and well needed purchase. I expect them to last awhile!
