This water drain is beautiful, you can fill it with any mosaic you have. It looks beautiful in the shower and the water drains easily through it. It is made of a very strong material, and I think it is a good purchase for its price.

I think this is a great product... is well made, and would work fine in a 3" floor assembly as shown in the installation diagram provided with the listing. I however, wanted to try and "retrofit" an existing floor subassembly with only 1" height available... and I couldn't figure out how to make this work for me. If there were a "Low Profile" version (and maybe there is and I just didn't see it with what Amazon put in front of me while searching): I'd like togive THAT a go. I think I could have "made this work" if there was a perimeter 1-2" metal tab all the way around the top, and a taller insert. That way I could mount it into the subfloor plywood, cover/glue the shower membrane to the top of it. Unequivecally draining the full tile assembly, even if there were some caulk or grout failure. Hey! Maybe an idea for a new product? Again, nice product, just not for me at the moment. If I ever get to build something NEW for myself, I'll take a look at these again.

So beautiful and clean look. Easy to clean and durable material

Love the appearance of the “hidden” drain. Makes the tile look so nice without a big bold drain in the middle of the shower. The hair catcher it comes with is nice, but it does fill up fast and you have to empty it often, otherwise the drain will back up - that is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Sometimes it takes a minute to catch up and start draining properly, even when it’s not overly full. Also don’t forget to pick it up and clean under it. It can get a little gross bc it’s an “out of sight out of mind” kinda thing. My tile guys had no issues installing it. They seemed familiar with the style, even though it was something new to me!
