This part was properly packaged and shipped.This starter is smaller than the original Delco Starter that came on my 4.3 liter Cobradrive. However it starts the motor better than the 25 year old original. I believe it is because the new permenant magnet motor on the starter draws less current than the Delco and thereby leaves more current for the ignition system. Very efficient.I would recommend this to a friend

No issues, easy install. I doubt the corrosion proof quality of the product. I coated it in a protective grease as I use the boat in salt water. I use it with a Mercuriser 3.0L 181. For the price not a bad buy, especially if used in fresh water. Okay if you protect it in salt water.

Installed starter on 95 f250 PSD. Fit well and and now the truck cranks quite fast. I have had it installed for about 6 months now without any issues.

Perfect fit and function. Installed with no issues. Do wish it was painted/coated somehow to ensure it survives longer in the marine environment.

I've had my boat starter rebuilt a few times over the past 18 years. Cost me more than this new one did. This one seems to be more durable and water resistant than the others. The price was definitely great! I recommend it!!

My husband installed this starter and it has been working great. It has been installed for 2 weeks now, I will update throughout the summer on how it is holding up! Great part in my opinion for half the cost.

Local marine business said this product did not appear to be marine grade and when compared to other marine grade starters there was a big difference so I went with a different one.
