As others have pointed out, the language and behavior was not really credible for young teens in the early 1960s. (We did not drop f-bombs back then.) I deduct a star because the blu-ray I purchased is supposed to include bonus features (deleted scenes) but the menu on the disk provides no way to access them.

If you love Gretchen Mol and historical sequences, this is the movie to watch!!!!! I recommend it!!!!!

worth watching
THis movie was worth watching however it was not based on facts. It shows Monroe being alive after the assassination of JFK.

A faithful portrait of some aspects of life and politics of USA behind the happier facade. We can see through the characters, their worries, joys and hopes. Mol and all the others are perfectly cast in their roles. And what makes the movie complete is the right mix of exterior and interor scenes. I wish the movie a lot of success. To be viewed and savoured several times.

While this movie is fictional it is intermingled with historical references and was no doubt inspired by Marilyn Munroe's relationship with President Kennedy. It has a unique dimension of a young boy who becomes infatuated with the seductive Gretchen Mol and their relationship frames the movie. It is an interesting and very well crafted movie.

The movie, a little disappointed, slow and boring, not what I would have expected...But service and delivery; Excellent...Price, very reasonable...Would I recommend this movie...""NO""...But to each their own...

A slow burner with an unbelievable plot line but stangely watchable if only to see Miss Mol displayed in the height of 1960s fashions.

I liked the story and the acting. I found both Gretchen Mol and Cameron Bright's acting very good. The period was well depicted and the story was interesting.
