The only problem is the small container gets hard on the bottom and it is very hard to mix. **Q: Does this item contain high fructose corn syrup? What sweetener is used?** A: Add_to_Cart's answer is consistent with what I remember manufacturing peanut butter in the 90s - the basic formula was peanuts; peanut oil; sugar (could be powdered beet sucrose or powdered corn dextrose, but was usually dextrose); salt; and a kosher edible wax stabilizer to keep the oil from separating out (I believe the hydrogenated vegetable oil is this ingredient). Probably the oil and sugar are higher than conventional peanut butter to make this a pourable sauce; the cornstarch is likely just there as a thickener. **Q: Is this anything like the pb sauce/ripple in ice cream?** A: This is best as a topping. If you’ve gone to an ice cream shop, like Friendly’s or similar, this is the warm PB topping they put on the top. Just warm it up and pour over. Delicious! **Q: Would this be good on a pb jelly sandwich? or would it be too sweet?** A: I've not tried it on a PB&J yet, but I think it would be good. It's not too sweet. Basically in my opinion, it thinned out peanutbutter. It's oily but not in the same nasty way that regular peanut butter is if that makes sense. You would need to stir each time you open it to mix the oils back in. I personally like to dip my ice cream cones into it head first.
