The bolt action carrier handle (the clicky part) is assembled upside down. This is to say that the handle is pointing up away from the dip instead of down like on an actual rifle. This small detail is and has been missed by many. My husband gave me one he bought from another seller a few years ago for Veterans Day and I loved it! I recently ordered this one as a "thank you" gift for my boss who is also military and I noticed something was off. I would love a refund, but I have not bothered to contact the seller so I cannot comment on their customer service. As I've said before, the pen itself is beautiful and if you're not bothered by the detail that I pointed out then "as you were". My personal opinion that if its personally made and it really is a cool pen that a higher quality pen filler should have been used. My real only complaint and flaw that i found is the pen filler doesn't come out far enough from the pen itself. It almost appears to be a little more than half way out. Pen is absolutely top heavy. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to get one for my dad. I just got it in the mail today and it's exactly what I was expecting. I tested it out and everything works smoothly and it writes great. It also has a good weight to it - it feels heavy in a good way. I can't wait to give it to my dad on his birthday, he's going to love it.
