The Handwriting Practice books are fully compatible with any school handwriting scheme and work methodically through letters and joins. Your child, if not having completed Book 1, will need to know how to form their letters correctly as this one starts straight out with joining two letters together and progressing to full words and sentences together. (We did the individual letters last year.) There are 45 practice pages in this book and by the end your child will be copying poems etc. Couldn't be happier with this book. Originally from England and not a big fan of cursive, I did however want the children to learn joined up writing. I was so impressed with the first book I ordered that I went on to order two more so that each of our children has one. IMPORTANT to note that this is Book 2 in the series. good stuff
I got it for my daughter to learn to write. She enjoyed using it and it helped her a lot.It is a standard book like I had as a kid in school. Just what I wanted. I got level 1 as well and it was the same experience.

Great aid to hand writing skills
Bought this for my grandson and his hand writing has improved significant. Hisletters are form correctly and his teacher has commented on the improvement

Amazing. Very helpful
Amazing book for half cursive. I think only book in this category. Helped my kid improve a lot in writing without any class or coaching. I ordered two sets for repeat practice and will order again.
