I was looking for an olive oil-based salad dressing that was a little lower in sodium with no chemicals, no cheese, and no sweeteners. It turned out that was Newmans Own Dressing Oil Olive N Vinegar. While many dressings that claim to have olive oil are mostly other oils with a little olive oil in the mix and have sodium around 300 mg per serving (some have more), but Newmans Own has 180 - not low sodium, but reasonable. When it arrived, I tasted it. It's sour and tangy with a fresh taste, the way I prefer my vinegar dressings, and tastes and smells a lot like a really good restaurant dressing. Yum! It's great on lettuce, cabbage, and tossed with a variety of cooked and raw veggies, and also tossed in pasta. And if you want cheese, you can toss it with some parmesan, but if you can't eat cheese, there's none in this dressing. One thing worth mentioning is that if you shake it up, then let it sit for a couple minutes, the dressing settles, and I mostly get oil when I pour it. So I make sure to shake it right before pouring, and that works well. So I'm loving my Newmans Own Oil Olive N Vinegar Dressing. It's a versatile ingredient to add to all sorts of foods, with a focus on olive oil, doesn't haven too much sodium, there are no chemicals. And, most important, it tastes and smells great!

This is gonna be a crazy review. If you really like Caesar salad dressing and you don’t like it being creamy, but like it being more on the oily/vinegar side, this is the dressing for you. It’s hard to find and it can be pricey but if you like Caesar dressing, try this and you’ll never go back to another brand.

Nice, light dressing.

This is one of those very few salad dressings that have neither sugar nor cheese, neither of which I eat. I like that about it. They didn't used to say that it had to be refrigerated. Now they've got a notation saying it's supposed to be refrigerated after opening. This is bad, because the olive oil congeals in the fridge, which makes the dressing almost impossible to use. I have to sit it in a pot of warm water for a while. My son decided that we aren't going to put it in the fridge, as we never did before. It works better at room temperature. It doesn't seem to have anything perishable in it, so I don't know why they think it has to be refrigerated. I wish they would reconsider their instructions -- or else make a similar one with a different kind of oil that doesn't congeal in the fridge.

Love this salad dressing but sometimes my local grocery store is out of it so I ordered from amazon. The taste is amazing and you don't need much on your salad for great flavor.

Very virsital salad dressing. Can be used in cooking as well on a salad. Tastes really good on roasted chicken. The thickness and texture are great. Not too oily. the size is a great value.
