It says that it is vegetarian, but I didn't see anywhere on the bottle that it was organic.

While allowable claims language for supplement companies varies from country to country, in the United States, supplement manufacturers are bound by the Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act (DSHEA) of 1994. According to FDA regulations, supplements are “… not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease”. In fact, this disclaimer is required to be printed on all dietary supplements. As blood sugar levels are associated with the diagnosis of a disease we cannot make any claims that relate to changes outside of normal levels.
