i have a 55 gallon tank hasnt been used in yrs was a salt water tank has this white and red build up inside how do i go about cleaning it? or even

Use bleach to clean the aquarium first. Take the aquarium outside and use a garden hose and bleach. If calcium remains use white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly. The API spray is for maintenance and getting rid of hard water drips after the aquarium is up and running.

Can you use this to clean the plastic plants in the tank?

Do not buy this product. It does not clean anything, makes your tank look worse than with out cleaning at all

Can I use to sanitize inside of a used fish tank?

I can’t tell you that because it does not seem to work at all on my tanks and I use it on the outside to clean the tank. I am not pleased with it at all.

Can this be used inside the tank? Like when I'm changing my fish's water?

it can be used on all glass surfaces. Works better if left on for 2 or 3 minutes before wiping. I use it for the glass lid and exterior surfaces, Better with a magnetic algae remover for interior glass.
