COVID Hair Blues
Well after lord knows how many weeks lockdown and more to come, my other half told me I was looking like a tramp and needed to sort my hair out. Strong words indeed...... My trusty onld set of Whal clippers that I have had for ower 30 years has seezed up because of my preference from going to the Barbers, mainly to get away from the family for a half hour or so. However was my current barber is closed and the last time I went to him his casual racism and un-natural interest in serial killers has made me question, ever using him again. So with my dodgy barber ot of action, no clippers, looking like a tramp and no end to the lockdown in Wales in sight drastic measures were needed. I choose thos over a Wahl clippers based on the following criteria 1. battery powered, cables are a pain in the backside when clipping your hair 2. price 3. Fancy graphics on the clippers (I'm having a midlife crises, that involves buying a Vauxhall Corsa and putting a No Fear sticker on the bumper") It arrived the day after I bought it and charged to full power in almost no time. The attachments it comes with afit easily and I went for the 4.5mm one for starters. Once it was charges I grammed a mirror and got under our Gazebo in the Patio, ficing a mirror to the patio doors. It was easy to use and light and within 10 minuted my head and beard where completley shorn, to an even length. No cables were abonus and the motor was quiet and smooth, I even did my eyebrows too. After first use it s definitely com parable to the Wahl clippers in performance, and beats it hands town in terms of ease of use and speed to cut my hair. What more could I want?
