**Q: Can they be connected via a USB switch and docking station, so that they can be shared by two separate PCs?**
A: dont think so

**Q: Are these speakers driver-less? can i use them with linux (ubuntu 16.04 lts)?**
A: Terence,When you plug the speakers into a PC running Windows or MacOS they automatically install, no need to install a driver beforehand. I just tried plugging the speakers into a PC running ubuntu 16.04.2 and they were not automatically recognized. If you are using Linux you may have to do a bit of work to use the USB DAC built into the speakers. **Q: Is there any "speaker hum or hiss" when they are switched on but not in use?**
A: No, I keep them on all the time and forget to turn them off... I'm not an expert but I'm quite sensitive to noise so I think I would notice this kind of thing. Hope it helps!

A: it doesnt have bluetooth.  You need to connect via either USB or audio signal
