My second favorite
I bought several of these knives in this price class and this was my second favorite (my favorite is at the end of this review with an Amazon link). I like lots of things about this knife; well balanced, fits well in the hand, thumb groove on the flat side, sharp and tactical for it's designed purpose. The sheath stays put when clipped in place and wears well. A minor nit-pic is really about the sheath; the knife doesn't 'click' into place, it more like 'mooshes' into place. It stays put but there's no reassuring 'click' - you just moosh it in till it stops. I wouldn't carry this knife inverted, only upright. And, the clip on the sheath is plastic. So, if you EDC this knife, expect the clip to give out after repeated use. Overall, for the price, you really cannot complain. It's a solid knife that hopefully will never be needed for it's designed purpose. Check out this one from Kershaw. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I0RUZGY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Rugged and Reliable: Perfect for Outdoor and Tactical Use
I recently purchased the Smith & Wesson SWHRT3BF 7.5in High Carbon S.S. Full Tang Fixed Blade Knife, and it has quickly become one of my favorite tools for outdoor and tactical activities. This knife truly stands out in terms of quality, functionality, and design. Firstly, the build quality is exceptional. The high carbon stainless steel blade is incredibly durable and holds its edge very well, even after extensive use. The full tang construction adds to the overall strength and balance of the knife, making it reliable for any situation. The 3.5in false edge blade is razor-sharp right out of the box. It’s perfect for a variety of tasks, from cutting and slicing to more precise work. The blade design is both practical and versatile, making it suitable for survival, tactical, and everyday carry (EDC) purposes. The TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) handle is another standout feature. It provides a comfortable and secure grip, even in wet conditions. The textured surface ensures that the knife won’t slip from your hand, which is crucial during high-stress or outdoor situations. The handle's ergonomic design reduces hand fatigue, allowing for prolonged use without discomfort. One of the things I appreciate most about this knife is its portability. The included sheath is well-made and secures the knife safely. It’s easy to attach to a belt or gear, making it convenient to carry wherever you go. The sheath also allows for quick and easy access, which is essential in emergency situations. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the Smith & Wesson SWHRT3BF Fixed Blade Knife. It’s a rugged, reliable, and versatile tool that’s perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, tactical users, and anyone who needs a dependable knife for survival or everyday use.

Good knife
This knife was exactly what I was looking for. I'm not an expert but it seems like a good knife for the price paid. I gave it as a gift at Christmas but I inspected it before wrapping. It felt good in my hand and had a good edge. The sheath fits nicely but it holds the knife in too tightly for me. It takes quite a tug to remove the knife, which is probably better than being too easy to remove but that is the reason for 4 stars. My brother found out that it easily goes through flesh, he decided to break up some frozen chocolate with the knife while holding the chocolate in his hand. He ended up needing stitches to fix up his finger after.

So good, I bought it twice!
This is the second one I've purchased! The tip broke off of the one I bought 10 years ago, but that one I bought from Fred Meyers (Kroger). It was such a great knife that I eventually replaced it and bought the second one from Amazon. I keep this one in my truck!

Used to be better
I have two of these from when they were made in Taiwan, and two of the new Chinese version. The current Chinese version has two drawbacks. The handle is entirely rubber now, which is bad for two reasons. The old one had a hard plastic core with a thick rubber layer molded over it and the plastic formed the very front end of the handle (the portion ahead of the wavy line in front of the thumb grip area). The corners of the handle which snap into the sheath were hard, but now they are rubber and wear down. My most-used of the new production has ragged fringes on the corners and doesn't snap into the sheath well any more, while the older ones with the hard plastic corners still work like new. All-rubber handles can be OK if the sheath is designed to retain them by grabbing more gently at a large surface area, but this still comes with a sheath which was designed for the old model. All-rubber handles are also bad because internally they wear against the tang and get loose (not much of a problem for a knife like this being used occasionally, but look up what happens to Fallkniven handles). The edge is sharpened too much. The old ones were sharpened very carefully to preserve the full curve of the blade design, and the edge grind came in gradually at the base to match the bevel. The new ones are sharp, but it's done in a careless way which loses some of the curve shape and has an abrupt indent near the tang. New from the box, they look like they have been used and sharpened already. Overall it's still functional, but it's below the quality of other S&W knives for similar prices.

Good budget banger
I ordered this smith and Wesson knife not expecting much for 16 dollars but it is a very decent knife for the price. If you are expecting perfect grind lines I would stay away. If you are okay with some minor imperfections and a decently sharp blade along with a nice handle that will fit inside a boot. The false edge looks cool and the spearpoint style makes this blade great for string tactically or just kitchen utility if you feel like it. I'll mostly be opening up packages and training with this knife for self defense. The grip on the knife is pretty decent for rubberized handles.

Great product, exactly as described, packaging perfect and arrived in the time given. Bought to use as addition to fishing equipment and can be used for filleting due to the sharpness out of the box and sheath allows convenient carry. Post a little expensive but as I live off the European mainland this is to be expected. Thanks

This is great little handy boot knife. Thickness is good, comfort is decent and craftsmanship is excellent. Bought this little gem so that I can use it around the country house when I am doing some outdoor work. Does the job and very handy! It comes with a chain so you can wear it on your neck as well. I prefer clipping it on my boot of my belt-buckle/pants. Highly recommend this product. Fast shipping as well.

A faca é muito boa, material de qualidade, boa bainha e um tamanho legal. Vale o preço. Pontos negativos é que a guarda é bem pequena e não vem afiada dos dois lados, mas é é só mandar afiar em um afiador de facas que fica perfeita.
