⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible quality for the price — shockingly good
I absolutely love this tripod. It’s hands down the best tripod I’ve owned outside of my Manfrotto — and honestly, this one might even be easier to use. It doesn’t feel like aluminum at all; it genuinely feels like carbon fiber. Super lightweight but extremely sturdy. The design is simple and intuitive with only about three knobs total, which makes setup fast and frustration-free. It does a full 360° rotation, extends very tall, and feels rock solid once locked in. It also comes with a phone holder, which is a huge bonus if you want to switch between a camera and an iPhone. There’s a built-in level, the quick-release plate is smooth and easy to use, and everything feels thoughtfully designed. The fact that this tripod costs under $60 is honestly wild. I’m confident enough in it that I’ll be using it for professional video shoots as well. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase — highly recommend.

Neewer home run! Inexpensive, light and strong Tripod
Looked at dozens of inexpensive tripods and took a chance on this one. I wanted something light yet strong enough to hold my Canon T1i DSLR with a heavy telephoto lens attached. I was really surprised by the build quality of this tripod at this price point - mid $30 range at the time of my purchase. It seems very well designed and made from quality materials. A lot of tripods in this price range rely on plastic in critical places. This tripod utilizes cast aluminum for the leg supports, gimbal mount, and gimbal. I was not expecting that. The leg clamps and gimbal knobs are plastic but seem to be of good quality. The legs have nice rubber cushions on them but do not have the option of metal spikes. The included phone mount is very sturdy and should fit most phones currently on the market. The gimbal mount accommodates the universal size of Arca-Swiss standard. Overall, this thing is rock solid with my camera and lens combination at the max height. Very satisfied and would highly recommend this tripod.

Excellent, well-made product at a great price!
I’m very pleased with this product. It is well designed and well constructed of lightweight and strong materials, mostly carbon fiber. One of the legs is specially designed to easily convert to a monopod. Perhaps the thing I like most about this is that the head comes with an Arca Swiss plate which makes mounting a lens or camera very fast and easy. It also has a tripod mounting plate with a built in bolt that has a little handle for tightening/attaching to your camera so you don’t need to worry about a hex tool. The bag is sturdy and has a nice carrying strap making the tripod easy to carry around with you when you’re out on a shoot. Excellent value on an excellent product!

Solid Tripod with Great Stability – Just Missing One Thing
Overall, I'm really impressed with it. It provides excellent stability, is super easy to set up, and is lightweight, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor shoots. The build quality is solid, and it feels durable enough to handle my camera and lenses with confidence. Stability: The tripod holds my camera steadily, even with larger lenses (Canon R + RF 24-70mm lens), which is essential for sharp, clear shots. The legs have a good lock mechanism that ensures the tripod doesn't shift or wobble during use. Ease of Use: The tripod is user-friendly, with simple adjustments for height and angle. The quick-release plate is also a nice touch—super convenient for switching between different devices. The Missing Piece: The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn’t have a long handle for turning the pan/tilt head. I typically work with heavier gear, and having a longer handle would make it a lot easier to adjust the camera smoothly, especially for panning shots. It’s still functional, but that extra length would make the experience even better. Value: Despite the lack of a long handle, this tripod is still an excellent value for the price. It’s versatile, sturdy, and does the job well—especially if you're just starting out or don't need extreme adjustments during shoots. It's well worth it for the price. Overall: Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a solid, portable tripod that does the job. Just be mindful that you might need to do some extra manual adjustments without the longer handle.

Good (large) carbon fiber leg tripod
This is not a bad tripod. For the $$ it is generally good. It is not especially light weight, it is not especially strong, it is not especially great quality. BUT! It is very good quality, it is prety sturdy if you use it properly, it is light(ish) and compact enough and the legs seem relatively sturdy. The ball head is good (a little above average quality for the Neewer range of tripods), it is smooth, and locks tight with multiple locking screws. Note: it does have a bit of "wandering" when all locks are set. I have a two pound Nikon P950 and used a 2.5 lbs Panasonic Eva-1 video camera and it wonders a bit when locked. So I would only use this tripod in a pinch with my video camera (not really a "video" tripod). I like the legs, they have been sturdy. I plan to use a different head that will remove the wandering issue and that should be a good combo. At full extension (which is pretty tall) it wobbles a lot, so I would not use it at the full hight. But that is to be expected as light weight means thin legs, and the like. The monopod system (remove a leg and there you have it, a monopod) is good and handy to have on had at all times. I think it is a better monopod than average. The locking system for the legs is ok. It is a typical twist lock type. They have clicks as you lock it, but not sure if that is intentional or not. Overall at the right price, this is a "not bad" carbon fiber legged tripod. For pro use, I would go elsewhere and pay the premium of pro. For prosummer use, I would recommend this tripod. For average use, this is a good, relatively light, good looking and sturdy tripod for the $$.

Insgesamt jedoch hochzufrieden

This tripod isn't perfect. It can feel a bit cheap at times, but has never let me down. It is lightweight, very sturdy, and even looks pretty swanky as well. But what makes this a five star product is the value. For a sturdy, fully functional tripod (plus monopod!), made of carbon fibre, this simply can't be beat. It is 80% as good as products 5x its price from gitzo and manfrotto. Were I a serious travelling landscape photographer, and had to rely on my tripod for a living, I'm not sure that I would want to depend on this, but as a wedding photographer who only occasionally needs a tripod, this one is a home run.
