STUNTMAN High Stability Chest Mount with J Hook for Action Cameras - Fits GoPro, DJI Osmo (Action 5 Pro, 4, 3, 2), Insta360 (Ace Pro, Ace, ONE RS, ONE R), and Others

I have previously used the GoPro chesty for many years for recording mountain bike rides but always had occasional camera shake on rough rocky sections (even with the inbuilt stabilisation) and it never felt like a truly stable mount. This improved design of the chest mount has a much tighter (though not uncomfortable) hold and practically all camera shake has been eliminated. I've attached an example. My problem now is the footage is so stable it appears that I'm floating over all the rocks!

Much more stable than a gopro chesty, even with the padding. Only using this for mountain biking on rough rooty trails. Much wider chest base and since I have a concave chest it rests more on the pecks and sternum rather than in-between the pecks. Fantastic mount.

If you used to the standard gopro or cheaper knockoffs this is miles ahead, never felt a plastic like it, super strong, rubbery and flexible. Will definitely take a fair bit of abuse

Bought this to replace GoPro chest harness to try and improve stabilisation. Although my action cam is supposed to have EIS it doesn't seem that affective and doesn't work at all in 4K. I ride quite rough and rooty mtb trails with drops and jumps and the resulting videos were looking very jumpy. The Stuntman has brought about quite an improvement. It isn't 100% smooth or anything but the videos now look a lot better. It's nicely made and comfortable.

Quality is good, fit is good, straps adjustable and easy to attach my camera to the front and it was held securely. Made of thick elastic and hard plastic, Stability was brilliant, filming was steady and clear, unfortunately, functionality was not good, only 3 stars because if you are not completely upright at all times the only thing you film is everyone else from the waist down or your own knees.

I previously had the genuine GroPro Chesty 2 mount which is pretty good. I use my GoPro for filming myself mountain biking. The GoPro mount was pretty good, but some larger bumps would cause it the move up and down and bounce around. This Stuntman one stops this altogether and result is a more stable recording. It is comfy and easy to put on. It does not make wearing my heart rate monitor uncomfortable which was a concern. The GoPro one had a quick release mount but the Stuntman does not, so to remove the camera you have take it out of the mount and ensure you have the correct angle when you refit it. Also, I think this mount would be less comfortable to fall on compared to the GoPro one which has padding on it. I bought it to make my footage more stable - and it 100% achieves this.

Solid plate and comfortable straps. I saw a video recommending the Stutman over the GoPro strap due to its superior stability, and glad to report it true.

I have the Gopro Chesty chest mount but bought this to try because reviewers said it hold the camera more steady. I use it for mountain biking with my Hero 13 Black. It fist well and does seem a little more steady than the Chesty. I think this is mainly because the chest plate on this one is highly and made of hard plastic. I don't at all think the chesty is bad and my video using it looks good. Both chest mount are nice and provide good mounting. I like the feel of the Gopro Chest a little better than this one but if your mail concern is your camera being held as still as possible this does seen to hold it a little bit tighter with a little bit less movement. I think both options are good though.
