Was looking for something to replace the iPad mini cradle that originally came with my RAM mount (used in small planes). I had the style you place the iPad in the bottom of the cradle and pop the top of the iPad into it (no case). I've gone through 2 of those - the plastic eventually fatigued and snapped at the top. This fit the ball size perfectly and I've used it on multiple flights with no issues. Even better...way more affordable and I don't even have to remove my iPad from the case!! I'm sold!

I was looking for a mounting solution for my new android tablet which is very large and there just aren't many out yet. This one is strong enough to handle the weight and obviously anything ram mount is going to be stout. The tabs are just big enough to reach around a pretty bulky case on my tablet but if they were a 1/4" longer it would have been a perfect fit.

Great Quality excellent for phones or tablets with otterbox type hard cases.

I use this mount for my Garmin Drivesmart 65, 6.95 screen size on my ATV when riding the trails. It held up really good for the most part until I hit some very bumpy trails. The stem that connects the ball broke because it is plastic. I drilled out the hole a little and and pushed the stem down a little further and glued the heck out of it. I also used a rubber tablet holder that wraps around the mount and the corners of the Garmin. works like a charm. I f the used metal instead of plastic on the ball joint this would be rock solid.

It securely holds my iPad Mini 4 tablet to the steering yoke in my Piper Cherokee, even in such a high vibration environment. The 1-inch ball size is compatible with my RAM mount, allowing full adjustability of the angle. This actually replaced a previous product that was very similar, but the rubber ball on the back of that one failed after about 5 years in the heat (hopefully this one will not fail in the same way).

I really liked the mount. I attached it to my Ram mount on the dash of my Jeep Gladiator. I don’t know if I should be happy or disappointed. I has been on my dash since April 2021 and the rubber over the ram ball just disintegrated yesterday Oct 24. 3 1/2 years. Since it worked as well as it did, I ordered a new one! I think it is a quality product.

Don’t buy this unless you want to modify it by gluing or screwing the ball to the mount. As many other reviewers pointed out - the piece that connects to the mount does not lock in place and will slip off with your device. I’m going to glue it in place and maybe put a couple of screws in. The mount itself is very nice so I’ll make the modification rather than return. I’ve updated my review from one star to three. I put a few dabs of Krazy glue on the ball mount and it is now firmly secured to the device mount. The device mount is very versatile and stable. It holds my iPhone 13 Próx Max, my iPad mini and my iPad 12.9. Obviously, you should not have to fix this and it is a glaring design flaw but I’ve yet to find a more versatile device mount.
