Simple and love it
I own a few different wire strippers, but i always go back to this guy. I don't use the little setting, i jsut squeeze a bit and it always cuts the sleeve of wires perfect for me. It's small, fits in jean's pockets and I've always liked these. This is a second pair.

These do an awesome job for the money
For a cheap wire stripper they do a great job! This is my second pair. I gave my first one to my son.

decent, very cheap price
It's fine, I bought this because when I was in school I used a stripper that looked a ton like this, but it is not the same quality, I was a little disappointed, however it works fine for the most part, if you are working with very fine wires I would suggest you get something nicer as it is not super accurate on the sizing

I forgot how handy these are!
I haven't had a pair of this type of stippers since getting one from Radio Shack back in the seventies. Saw it while browsing and decided it was time to get another. These are plenty sturdy, and are a great value for the money. The notch and wire size gauge make stripping leads pretty much foolproof. I won't hesitate to buy another when this one gets swiped!

Good wire stripper. I have elaborate strippers but keep coming back to this basic style.
Very basic design wire stripper. I have several types but I end up using this style the most. I like how small and thin it is. Does not take much space in my portable tool box. It has a spring loaded handle and a bar on the spring that keeps the cutter's teeth closed while in storage. While the stripper works fine, the cutter section of the blade does not work well at al. The blades have a gap near the pivot point.

I have at least 10 wire strippers, this is the best!
I have one of the Gardener Bender strippers for years and would seek it out when others were right at hand. The dial gauge selector feature is the key. I have purchased other dial gauge strippers but the dial was loosely attached (Klein tools) which would change the size of the opening for the bare wire. I make a lot of cables for mics and pa. I could not find the GB tool at any of the local stores, so I looked on Amazon. I will be ordering a few more to equip all my work locations with this stripper.

I bought a pair of these ~5 years ago, loved them. Just bought a new pair, and the wire gauge is completely wrong - I was trying to strip a 22 AWG wire - on the '22 AWG' setting, it barely touched the wire, changed it to 24 AWG, still couldn't handle a 22 AWG wire... there too big. ABSOLUTELY USELESS
