This foot has a tunnel directly under the needle which allows a string of pearls, beads or heavy yarn to glide under the foot as a zig zag stitch is used to couch them in place. The narrow tunneled foot fits beads up to 2mm and the wide tunneled foot is used for 2.5-4mm beads.

This product is a special foot from Janome that fits my Janome Sewing Machine.  I needed this productto do couching with my sewing machine.  I live in a rural area and it was great to able to buy a real Janomeproduct for my sewing machine through Amazon.  I LOVE Janome sewing machines and these specialty feet make it easyto do my art quilts.  The service from the Amazon vendor was excellent.
