Just what was needed, easy to install and good quality. Good value for money.

Good quality camera system, easy to fit and the best image quality of any reverse camera I’ve fitted so far. Fitted to a tractor and trailer, even with a 20metre cable image quality is excellent and more than adequate to see what’s behind you. Two camera inputs are available with a trigger wire that can be connected to automatically switch input when vehicle put into reverse. All connectors feel well made and sturdy, both camera and screen appear to be reasonably well made, the camera bracket is very strong and durable. The weak point is the plastic bracket that holds the monitor and just sticks to the dash with adhesive. This is the only monitor fixing method supplied. I didn’t use this and ground down the heads of a couple of bolts to fit in the track on the back of the monitor and bolted on a RAM mount ball and then used their fixings to hold it securely to the cab. Great kit, the supplied monitor bracket may be strong enough for your needs but a simple stronger fixing can easily be made up, definitely recommended.

On first inspection, the item appears to be of good quality. It's quite heavy and looks well made, plus it's easy to install, however we were really dissapointed with its performance. The image quality is sharp, as you would expect, but very grey and bright. Despite adjusting the brightness, contrast and colour balance, its not possible to get a true (daytime) colour image on our 1080p 7"" monitor. As for night vision, unless you are on a fully lit road, all you will see is a bright grey screen. It's not even black & white. To be honest, we turn it off at night, when on unlit roads. And yes, we have tried it on another monitor and it's just the same. In conclusion, it's nowhere near as good as the Sony camera (of the same spec) that we had for 6 years on our previous motorhome.

Had unit fitted 6 months ago. Thought it worked fine but only drove in daylight. Darker nights showed me night vision didn't work. Contacted amazon who were very helpful and offered a replacement but as the fitting cost was more expensive than the unit I declined. I tried to contact the manufacturer but no response. Camera works fine in daylight and as I have two high level side lights on the rear of my motor home it also gives a poor but usable rear view. Also the shade is not a separate adjustable piece as it was on my old unit and considerable smaller so cannot be adjusted to stop glare from the sun. The unit functions so I will not be replacing it yet but will not replace it with this unit when the time comes.

I use these as a rear view monitor when towing our caravan. In the past I’ve had a wireless one and a lesser quality wired one. The wireless one was very problematic, frequently loosing the signal and usually at the worst possible time. My previous wired one worked well but the image was poor though adequate. The image and functionality of this one is far superior to anything else that I have used, though twice the price. It’s a decent quality product. The nuisance of a wired one means running a cable through the car and connecting to the cable of the caravan. Then you have to protect it from being damaged by the tailgate door. When you drop the caravan, you have to remember to disconnect it before driving away. I forgot to disconnect my old one, hence having to buy this one while we were away. Having said all of that, I still think this is the best way of doing it.

Easy to install and the rear camera really helps reversing onto a caravan, trailer or tow car. Connects to mobile smartphone too so the GPS is excellent.

Just what my husband was looking for. Loved it so much, we ordered another one.

We purchased our Winnebago Via 25T with back-up camera "dead," but only functioning with side cameras. So, upon removing the old unit, we realized that someone goofed-up the cables and it was a mess. We searched a suitable cameras on-line and the price for OEM was just ridiculous. Once we discovered this camera, we ordered it right away. The price was a 1/4 of what typical OEM pricing looked like. We ordered a 65' 4-prong cable elsewhere and once we received both - it plugged and played with no issues. No interference, awesome quality of the video feed. At night - it's black and white and very clear video feed. During the day - beautiful color and clean video with decent resolution. This camera is built like a TANK - very solid construction. We did not utilize the brackets provided, but fitted into existing one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for those who seek to save a few $$$ and is very easy as DIY.

Missed the returns window due to not having the time to install it. Got round to it 11 days late, but the unit won't display an image, unsure if it's the camera or it's cable.

Purchased several units almost 2 years ago. Easy to install ,worked very well on tractor/combine. We had a problem with one monitor after about 19 months. When I contacted the company Michelle was able to arrange shipment of replacement unit and we were up and running in no time. Great customer service.
