Good little kit this, kids can be creative and love it

Great fun easy to fit up and play with

The overall look of the box is great, appealing to my little boy age 6. He already has a few of the smaller hot wheels track sets, so they can all link up to the track in this box, great how you can incorporate the box into making up different tracks and also for storing all the track and connectors. I bought this for my son as a gift to open when it was my daughters birthday, kept him occupied while she was playing with her new things.

My wife hates Hotwheels simply because we’ve collected too much. She has a point. Our tracks and structures indeed tend to occupy the livingroom for days forcing all of us to take care not to break our necks by bananasliding on one of the many racing cars that lie around. However, the versatility, the affordability and modularity of the range cheapness makes it hard to resist the purchase of the occasional extension set. And so we also got ourselves this set that includes the ability to set up a mega-size looping and a powerful launcher. A single car is also included in the box so you can use this very well as an exciting starter set. That the set doubles as a storage box is a modest plus to our minds as we have enough Hotwheel track and parts to fill ten boxes. But what makes it interesting is that the lid and box can be integrated into your tracks, they have eight places to connect to track. Moreover the bin has two scoring compartments which adds a competitive element to the stunting. The only drawbacks are that i.) the cars rarely perform a double loop with the included push launcher, as suggested on the packaging (a gravity -driven long ramp from the table or kitchen top does the trick though) And ii.) as is common with many Hotwheel contraptions, it doesn’t take all cars, several are too wide and the higher bulkier ones never complete a loop - you better have some low nimble racers in your collection. Nevertheless the set is good fun at a decent price again. So recommended for starting, experienced and spoiled drivers alike.

3 year old absolutely loves it. Bought as a little gift to help relieve the boredom during this terrible time and the global lock down. My 3 year old lit up when he seen "Hotwheels City loops" and both Dad and lad had a great afternoon combining this along with some other Hotwheels tracks and playsets. At this price its also a bargain, the storage bucket lid doubles as a stand for several different types of loop or jumps as does the bucket itself and all the pieces and along with a dozen or so cars can be neatly stored away. Build quality seems good, the plastic track has a lot of flexibility and the storage box also seems solid, although with all the slots and notches built into it, it could be a weakness over time, but we will see. I'm also using it to teach the boy to assemble and disassemble the track and put it away after use so there's a bit of education to the toy as well. For the price paid (just over £20) its a bargain and a great addition to, or even aa a starter to Hotwheels playsets.

The launch part is tricky for kids to apply enough force to get the car round the loop. Easy to connect together but comes apart if moved slightly. Clips do not sit tight when connected. Can easily be added to other hot wheels tracks.

La calidad del producto es excelente y cumple con las expectativas. Solo tener en cuenta se incluye un UNICO coche. Aunque sería ideal contar con más unidades, siempre se puede comprar un pack a parte. En conclusión, si estás buscando un juguete entretenido y de calidad para niños y niñas a partir de 5 años, el set de Hot Wheels es una magnífica opción. Es fácil de usar, permite crear circuitos variados y garantiza horas de diversión para los pequeños de la casa.

Really great play set that is it’s own box, and at a really good price. The tracks are flexible and don’t break easily. One of the best parts is the launcher, which is really durable. It doesn’t use rubber bands to launch the car, it just uses one to pull the lever back into place after launch. This is much better than the bow-and-arrow type of launchers that Hot Wheels makes, because those break quickly due to all the stress and it’s hard to find replacements. It’s actually easy to change the track configuration. Hot wheels cars work well on it, but a lot of matchbox cars don’t (which is fine). I think every Hot Wheels car we have is compatible with the tracks themselves, and probably 30-40% of them are compatible enough to be launched and complete the 2 loops configuration. They have to have certain shapes/weights to work really well with the launcher, so you just have to try different cars to see which ones work. But that’s fun, too.
