I am a card maker & and use these trays to keep my die cut pieces, embellishments and bits & pieces for projects together. I don’t need multiple lids to take up space and get in the way, so having one lid for the top tray perfect! These are much better and larger than the stacking trays I was buying from my crafting supply store! I also bought a large sheet of thin silicone and cut to size to keep pieces from sliding around. I bought this to help sort and keep track of the pieces while building a micro block set, and it works really well. Having each section of the build in its own tray makes it much easier to see where you are in the project. Nothing gets lost or mixed up, even when you set the build aside and come back to it later.If you’re a micro builder, or you’re working on any project with lots of small pieces to track, this is a simple and effective way to stay organized. I’d recommend it.

I thought this meant it holds that many pieces in single layers, but that's not what it means. Possibly if you have a puzzle with tiny pieces, which I do those too. But right now I'm working on a Ravensburger large piece, 750 piece puzzle and only about 2/3 of the pieces fit in the tray set. Maybe less. So that's been a bit disappointing. That is my only real complaint though. I kind of want to take 1/2 a star off due to the misleading puzzle piece number, but it's a great product and I can always buy a second set if I end up doing many puzzles with this issue.I got the white, which makes it so easy to find my pieces. Even the white pieces aren't the same shade of white and are easy to see the edges against the white background.The trays stack tightly into each other, which means they will not fall off when stacked tightly and are easy to carry when you want to move your puzzle to a different room. The lid is a bonus! I have 3 cats who LOVE my puzzles, so having extra protection is a must. I can stack them between sessions and the cats cannot bump them to open them up. Because they fit tightly into each other, this means they are a little difficult to pull apart. So you need to use finesse when pulling them apart when they're full of pieces. Just do it slowly and patiently.They are very sturdy. A hard plastic that does not bend. High quality.

I purchased two sets of these, and they work perfectly holding all the sorted colors of a 1000 piece puzzled. I love that the stack neatly when not in use, too.

White trays are best for sorting and finding all colors of pieces. Sturdy. Just wish they were a tiny bit deeper.

I love these sorting trays. I bought the 10- inch size. When I sort puzzle pieces, I like to turn them all face up, and in a single layer so every piece is visible. For that reason, I bought a second set of trays: I always do 1000-piece puzzles, and I use a lot of trays to sort by color AND turn them all face up in a single layer. For my most recent 1000-piece puzzle I used 13 trays—15 if I had used trays for edge pieces too.After sorting, it’s handy just to work out of whatever tray you need, instead being crowded by hundreds of pieces spread out all over the table. And it’s satisfying to stack up all the trays at the end of the day, especially since it prevents my cats from knocking the pieces off the table or carrying them off in the middle of the night!

These trays are great for building puzzles, especially in small spaces. They stack together neatly when you are not working on your puzzle. We use them in our camper which allows us to build puzzles while we're traveling.

What a marvelous idea these trays, especially with the overall lid, are. My kitties won’t be happy, but I will. They will make a great gift for any puzzle lover.

The 10" by 10" size is perfect for puzzles of all sizes. Smaller puzzles, you don't need all the trays but for large 1,000 + puzzles I use them all. The trays are easy to position on top of each other or spread out. I like that the sides aren't high. The white background is excellent. Wish I had bought it earlier instead of struggling with 5 of my cookie baking sheets, which were so awkward. This one is a winner, thanks. Would buy them for my family and friends who are puzzle people but a bit too costly for that but will them how much I enjoy them.

Love these storage trays it makes sorting and storage so easy and no lost pieces accidentally swept off the table! Highly recommend this set of trays!!
